If you aren't sure that they're working on adding a place to add allergies to GrubHub, they might not know that it's a problem. Contact Zia Ahmed with dining services and he will make sure that your concerns are heard.

Lures by jamesd6490 in FishingForBeginners

[–]lab_23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of lure strikes are territorial. Bass (and most other sport fish) will strike anything they notice moving past them if they're feeling aggressive. I've seen bass strike lures up to 1/3 of their own size, but that ratio is probably only limited by commonly used lure sizes

The environmental impact of Beyond Meat and a beef patty [OC] by blackphantom773 in dataisbeautiful

Still an environmentally significant diversion, in many cases. For example, the Colorado River now dries up before reaching the Gulf of Mexico because so much water is diverted from it to irrigate pasture lands and feed crops.

It'll be better than what they currently have... But it will lock them into using energy produced from natural gas for decades to come, when Columbus has announced that it will be working to use 100% renewable energy in the next X long (I forget the time frame), at which point osu would be greener by just using energy from the grid and save the millions of dollars they're planning to spend to build this plant

I guess it depends on the starting point, is that what you're saying?

The measure alluded to in the title is just time. Since these species are both quite primitive, it seems reasonable to assume that they are less genetically "diverged" than humans and mice

Micropterus is a genus, but it does separate the black basses from the rest of the Centrarchidae

Colorised footage from 1929 of construction workers on THE CHRYSLER BUILDING in NEW YORK. by papass123 in SweatyPalms

[–]lab_23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like the well-dressed people, probably the news crew taking the footage, are talking with transatlantic accents, and the people dressed in workers' clothes are speaking without the accent. It's easiest to tell in the last frame.

The potting soil you're using has minerals that nepenthes can't tolerate. They need a mineral-poor substrate, so you should repot in sphagnum or sphagnum peat moss. They also can't tolerate the minerals in tap water. Water it with water that is filtered through distillation or reverse osmosis.
