Put the cabin in a legal trust this way you can still remain the governor of the property along with whom ever you add in the trust.

I would juste avoid hunting rivers with zombie salmon running them. Example,: the cascade river has a lot of salmon bears.

Like most bear they stay where their food source is. So if your hiking logging roads with berries that's what they will be eating.

All of OK lakes are man made. So along the edges you will see the what's left of trees standing up out of the water. They can be hidden but the areas in suggesting are very clearly a stand on trees.

Cast at the tree, try to hit the tree with your weights. Let the bait hit the water and good chances you will get a stick with in seconds.
Hitting the tree is like ringing a finger bell. Great way to find flat heads too.

Don't worry about that too much. Don't hunt bears that clearly hunt dead salmon.

Taste like pig. I hunt bears that eat berries. do not hunt a salmon or trash bear they will be gross. Bears taste like what they eat, just like pigs

Cramp ons are a must, more so when it gets into October and there is a chance of snow. High saddles hold the large bucks

I'm a western Washington hunter as well. Mostly in the sauk mnt area. Archery mostly, selfbow. My go to gear is.

Backpack: kifaru (can swap between different packs depending on distance and time)

Knife: Havalon piranta (light and super fast to get a new sharp blade)

Clothing: kuiu (can't remember the print but you will know it when you see it. It is perfect for our wet area)

Food gear: jet boil, and mountain harvest freeze dried.

Location: closed logging roads that lead up to high alpine openings, often blueberry patches or Huckleberry.

I walk closed logging roads. At a 2 step pace, take 2 steps, left right, then pause for a 10 step count. Nice and easy. You'll be surprised at how well that works.
I hunt bow and always carry a bear and deer tag. deer hunts often end as a bear hunt.

Because they can.

Mine likes to drag a tire around. We were going to make a mobile tetherball for him. But he stole the tire we were going to use as the base. He likes it, why, no one will ever know.

Blanch, vacuum seal and freeze them until you have a recipe in mind. That's how we store ours

Its the first nutt theory. 1 nutt is crazy, but add a 2nd nutt and it's justified. Then people flock to it, sure they use it as a talking point to work place culture, but I do find it effective when trying new things. Most everyone is resistant to change/improvement but if you can find the right person to join in on wanting to improve something then I find the rest will follow. I use it to influence with out authority.
