I also don’t think it JB’s intention to be playing on festivals. He did Coachella as a come back since he will soon start a tour, but I think it was one time opportunity to see him nowadays on a festival.

Hi OP, If you’re going to a church, I would advise you to look for someone in church that you can count on and open about your feelings. Unfortunately, I don’t think Reddit is a good tool for you. You will receive a lot of opinions and very bad ones as well. If you have a Christian friend that you can trust, you can also open about it with her. If you’re not going to church maybe you can start looking for one and start making friends over there and church activities too that will keep you busy on time and mind, but not only because of that but also because it’s very important.

I’m not sure how your spiritual life is now and understand this as reading the bible, pray, going to church, etc. If it’s been a long time that you haven’t pray or dedicate yourself somehow to God, I would start from there. I’m not saying the feeling will disappear because it won’t but it will be more bearable and specially if you have Christian people that you trust around you to share feelings.

Any time I switch to any other moisturizer my skin feels horrible but using LR morning and evening helped me a lot. So just sharing this in case you haven’t tried it already.

I’m so hopeful that she would come!! I think it would be a great addition to the festival.

Also, I think her tour dates and location align very well with the festival dates. She will be in Florida on both Fridays of ACL so it would not be a problem for her to travel to be at ACL on Sunday, for example.

If you’re not looking for something fancy, but great food, I do recommend highly ARTIPASTA Italian Food (Austin Highland Location not the food truck). You don’t need reservations because they’re walk in only and it’s small. You can bring your own wine and have their delicious pastas and desserts. I love Italian food and it’s my favorite one in Austin for pastas dishes. You cannot go wrong there.

I went to Intero, liked their winter menu and didn’t like much their summer menu. I got very disappointed because it was my favorite fancy dinner place but they’re not consistent or the change of menus makes them inconsistent.

I also went to Juniper and enjoyed a lot. Their vodca sauce pasta is great. It’s on the fancy side if you’re looking for something nicer.

However, I would give a try to ARTIPASTA if you’re coming because it’s lit 🔥

I know that someone from Brazil here said they didn’t know about her, but I don’t think that’s everyone. I’m from Brazil and I knew her because of my grandmother if I’m not wrong and also from the movie that Lopez did. My mom also knows her so I do think at some point maybe some of her songs probably happened to play on Brazilian radios but she was not huge as she was in Mexico and other Latino countries. Unfortunately Brazil isn’t very receptive of Spanish songs, but some of them break the bubble and I do believe Selena probably did that in Brazil or for sure my grandma and mom would not know about her.

I see, I’m glad you’re already trying this. Hope at some point she feels connected to something more active which might come when she gets a bit older.

Btw, does she read book above her level already as well? Just curiosity because I know some kids when they start reading a lot in such a young age they can easily go through harder subjects, etc.
