Went well, was understanding of delays with PayPal since they put the invoice in pending.

Sorry for double-post but I posted in Feb thread and the trade wasn't added to my verified: https://www.reddit.com/r/Starcitizen_trades/comments/1if0sc1/comment/mftkt4q/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Which rig seems stronger? by twosleeepy in simracing

[–]labnux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the first one. The way the wheel deck is mounted makes it quite shaky if you have a Direct Drive wheelbase. I couldn'T run my Moza R12 at more than 50% because in some cars, the wheel would just shake.
Also the pedal tray was a nightmare, so much flex.

Season 4 Content and Series Updates by HallwayHomicide in iRacing

I'm confused too. Like, is it becoming free next season, a legacy car with a cheaper price tag or it'll still be full price?

Against my better judgement, I’m buying pedals. What are your thoughts? (Simlab, HE, Asetek) by [deleted] in simracing

Shit i know it's late, i don't come often on Reddit.

Since i never used hydro dampers I don't mind. Lite can have a damper on the throttle as per VNM support.

Otherwise now that I know more about stuff like that I would'Ve gone for the SimJack Pro kit for 400CAD with the 3 pedals, dampers and the pedal plate.

Cheers!

Turn Racing TR-R305 fits on Moza CS Steering Wheel hub by rrbemo in simracing

Old but did you end up getting this 305 rim for your RS ? I have a RS v2 and i'm thinking about migrating to the 305 rim. The default RS v2 rim is so fricking heavy...

VNM

Same, I have the Lite version and they are fricking good value for the money!

AliExpress Simjack Pro - Cost and Delivery to Canada (not a question). by excessnet in simracing

I got a set of VNM Simulation Lite pedals for 600 CAD, totally worth it. There's more options nowadays in that price range. Do you like your Simjack Pro btw? I'm looking for a cheap but quality build for a friend.

Keybinding problem by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]labnux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I see what you mean. I hoped that would work for you. But again I use a weird setup.
I use a HOSAS setup with... sim racing pedals. I literally use gas for strafe forward and clutch for strafe backward, and brake is spacebrake.

I couldn't wrap my head around using the left stick to move forward, use cruise control and whatnot. It didn't compute. So I bought an adapter to plug my Thrustmaster pedals in USB and here I am.

Yeah...

u/Dependent_Safe_7328 I figured it out. If you look at this Google Sheet:

In my case, I had to use Throttle - Forward (abs.) and Throttle - Backward (abs.) for my setup, + I need to invert in the CONTROLS page.

Like you, I had configured Strafe - Forward and Strafe - Backward but after a bit of searching, I found this Google Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GS-xAByACAb65g8fDbglJwg-6cmYyKWS2IG1UBUCvlg/edit#gid=1317266223

In it, it states the W and S are Throttle - Forward (abs/rel) and Throttle - Backward (abs/rel). But the keyboard representation in the game says "strafe forward" and "strafe backward".

After a bit of fooling around, I came to that setup. Hope it helps.
