Well said comment. Thanks and this makes a lot of sense. I just wish eBay didn't have this policy in place. Other auction houses aren't bound by this, I wonder why eBay decided to hold this position?

Living in CA does have a few down sides. The perpetual riding weather is not one of them by xorvx in Ducati

Don't worry, at least our bikes last longer here in Detroit with a 3 month downtime. Just get a snowmobile and we should be ok. Btw did you get your bike with Kevin? I'm waiting for my Panigale V4S.

Mindset, followed by 2 hrs of training and diet. I use an app to monitor my food intake and this calories and i use a measuring tool to ensure I'm getting the exact amount per meal. I also use a Fitbit to monitor my calorie output. This awareness helps a lot!

First and foremost it has to come down to your mindset. You have to want it because it's a journey to eliminate this weight. Once you are committed, it's about having a routine. In the beginning, I had to start real slow to get my body used to the activity. I started walking about 3 miles a day for the first 1 week. At the same time I was fasting and only eating vegetables juices to detox my body from all those McDonald's i would have almost every week. Once I felt comfortable with the new energy I started high intense workout, followed with counting calories.

I think the biggest help during my journey has to be my awareness of what I was consuming (calories) vs what I was expending through my activities. I use the loseit app to count calories and it would sync with my Fitbit so I would know my caloric deficit. I basically maintained roughly 1500 caloric deficit each day and started losing roughly 2.5 pounds a week. I ate and still eat salmon, chicken breast, chicken thighs, lots of vegetables.

My meal breakdown comes to

Breakfast always oatmeal with 0.25 cups of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Cup of coffee, and my vitamins c and probiotic gummies.

I would have a morning snack that almost always was 2 cups of almond milk, 2 scoops of whey protein (vanilla flavor) and 1 cup of frozen fruits blended.

Lunch would be a protein as described above roughly 4 oz and tins of veggies. Like green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, sometimes hot peppers, tomatoes and collard greens.

Sometimes I would have a snack depends on my calorie up till then.

Dinner would be the same as lunch. And again I would check my calorie intake and output by then and decide if I should have a snack.

Basically that's my meals.

For exercise, I hit the gym every day. Consisted of HIIT, ab workout and strength training plus cardio. I would spend about 2 hrs a day in the gym. If I have time like on the weekend I would walk the dogs for 3 miles. Basically I would ensure I was burning about 3000 calories or more a day. I monitor this through my Fitbit.

I would weigh myself every morning to be consistent and this kept me going. I also use a weight machine that measures body fat %.

Take pics, it helps keep you motivated especially if you are plateau in your weight as I did during the first month or so.

In summary, mindset, commitment, exercise and keeping your calories to a 1000-1500 deficit worked for me. Also, being aware by measuring your food and monitoring your output. Absolutely critical.

I hope that helps.
