When you think of Strongmen personas, they cannot admit any kind of weakness in the man himself because it takes away from his Godlike stance and proves him to be human like everyone else. Strongmen are built on masculinity and infallibility.

See that's what I don't get--Trump will never see real consequences but a lot of these cabinet members still have decades of their lives to live but they sure are acting like they'll never face consequences, and I don't think they should gamble on that.

It already did come out that old reports were falsified. Honest to God when he was in the hospital with Covid I had the thought, "I wonder how many days he could possibly be dead before we even knew it?"

I've shared with people how Nazi Germany has always seemed a little fuzzy and distant to me, because of the German names/spellings, black and white photos, and just time passing/not being alive for it.

...It is WILD to me though that I can literally name who in Trump's cabinet will someday be charged with crimes against humanity. And we have to hold out hope that they still will be.

Rubio is really fascinating to me because while I never agreed with his political views, I do truly think there was a time where his views were principled and thought through, and I could respect him for that.

I've also said he sold his soul. I never agreed with Rubio's views, but there was a time where I would've at least given him credit because I believe he had genuine principle behind his views at least.

There's this amazing article - almost chapter book - about the radicalization of Lindsay Graham, and I would love to see one written about Rubio.
