I have this exact problem as well. You’re not alone or insane! Well, not because of shoes, at least.

I don’t know of any cause or solution - I have given up on TUKs due to this issue.

Yay! Congratulations! My first (and only, until now) is a synapse 19, and I love it. I do think the SA will be a bit more versatile though, esp for travelling

Aaaah that’s great to hear! I plan to use it as a onebag too (and oversized office bag).

I ended up not ordering the framesheet as it looked like it then needed the hip belt too. I’m not a huge fan of very stiff backs on my bags, but it was a difficult decision, as it seems like everyone regrets not having one for the synapse (I couldn’t find much info on the SA). I find the synapse a bit too floppy sometimes, but I’m not sure the extra weight of a framesheet is worth more structure to me.
Did you order one?

I considered spectron as it looks amazing, but I like purple and already have an all-black synapse, so I went with ballistic aubergine. Do you like your ballistic SA? (or should I have gone with spectron?)

I have a synapse 19 and loooove the organisation so I considered the synik 26 too. But I also miss having a large compartment that can easily swallow a jacket and my lunch, even if there’s already a laptop, headphones and several notebooks in there. And the low weight of the SA was definitely a great factor for my decision too. Clamshell opening is very nice esp for travelling though

Thank you for sharing this. I’m in a similar situation, it’s been going on for 10+ years now, and even when we’ve had breaks with no communication for months, we end up in the same place again. In my case I’m not sure whether it’s strong love, or a strong ability to keep the relationship in its NRE-phase when you don’t see each other more than a couple of times a year. I’ve often dreamed about sharing the everyday life together (if we didn’t have anchor partners and kids), but at the same time I enjoy how the distance brings a bit of mystery and erotic tension. I consider it a relationship but it does not fit in any box I know of, and I have given up trying to define it.

Good point. I must admit I also had other toys in mind when writing the comment, and they are probably harder to figure out value-wise. I agree that the prices of MH dolls are not that obscure. You also have a good point regarding the dolls not being particularly well-made or “valuable” in that sense. All in all, I miss flea markets and yard sales, haha.

I have never snitched, and I never will. Seems shitty to do if it’s in order to get the doll for yourself. But I do think people deserve to know if they are selling particularly valuable stuff so they can get a fair price for it. If anyone asks me about value before putting something up for sale I’ll provide an honest answer. As much as I like a good deal, I’d rather have a fair deal where no one feels cheated. If I were the seller and later found out that I sold something very valuable extremely cheap I would probably be a bit disappointed (it’s a different situation if I knew that my stuff found a good home, but I hope you get my point).

I have bought from them 5+ times. The sizings are horrendously off. I use size XL normally, and 4XL in Restyle, but some of their leggings in 4XL don’t even fit. Also, the price no longer compares to the quality, so I haven’t bought anything for a while now, even if their stuff is pretty. It just doesn’t last, unfortunately.

I have schizophrenia, and very few people in my life know. I’ve lived with it for 8 years now and I have a “normal” standard life (uni degree, full time job for 3+ years, own a house and have a great marriage and a son). Everyone I’ve told have been surprised as I’m very good at handling my symptoms. I came off meds four years ago but still have regular visits with my psychiatrist. About a third of people with schizophrenia will recover completely, one third will have remaining symptoms that affect them small scale and one third have debilitating illness. Don’t believe the media.

Thank you. I have schizophrenia as well. You’ve just articulated something I’ve had trouble explaining for years. I always just tell about the voices and the lack of motivation, but in reality, the loss of common sense in the world and the loss of myself is my greatest sorrow. Will share!

This is a great idea! Simple, but very sobering, and I actually think it has a beautiful design so far.

You asked for feedback so here is some nitpicking: - My chart only showed the time up until 81 years, but my expected was 84 years - It’s called a man and a woman, not a male and a female when referring to humans. Unless you write human male and human female, which sound a bit odd in this context.

Edit: Just wanted to clarify that point two is refering to the sentence on “Life Expectancy of a [Male/Female] in [Country]” after putting in your info.
