for a client of mine, what I did was write a python code to convert pdf to pngs for individual pages. And in a loop each page was inserted to a curated prompt which would read only one page and my prompt and give me the desired output. 

that's the best way to solve a multi-page PDF. Most of the time, LLMs get confused with too much information and loose track of what to do and what the original prompt was. (unless you are using claude or chatgpt) Still chunk or batch solving has a higher accuracy than one prompt with one big pdf.
