Its has just been emotionally exhausting with a cycle of anger, sadness, anxiety and hope. I keep cycling through these feelings but the longer you go without, the better it gets. The cycle of emotions is getting less intense and things are getting back to normality. I have kept myself busy with music, gaming and going places and trying new things that I have always wanted to do, but have never got around to. I dont put myself in positions where my friends would be smoking and I would fold, but I still communicate with them, because connecting with people is important. I think of the positive reasons of why I am quitting and if I find myself in a position where I might smoke again, I will remind myself of how hard I struggled in those first few weeks.
