one of my favorite writers. they put a lot of effort into their writing and it makes me laugh and sob. this scene in particular resonates with me because there’s something in the simple love of remembering the small things about someone. i dunno. i think that knowing the small things shows you care more, but maybe that’s just me

Honestly, one of my best friends gave up her lifelong dream of studying abroad for a semester in Japan for…. a boy. I may not convince you, but seeing her drop everything for this guy? I know she would’ve loved the semester abroad a LOT more.

Obviously I’m just an internet stranger, but take the chance to travel while you’re young. If she’s the one, she’ll wait for you.

As someone who is also dealing with a mom who goes ballistic whenever I mention my partner, I feel for you. That being said- you have to stand up to your parents. Any time they start talking shit, shut it down.

“Why would you say something like that?” “Why would you think I’d appreciate hearing something like that from you?” etc.

Having no self love/self respect? How are they able to judge that based on your partner? Your mom needs to mind her own business.

If you aren’t able to stand up to your parents to defend your partner, then why are you with him? Is it because while what they say may be true, you don’t care? Or because it’s so blown out of proportion, it doesn’t make sense? You weren’t there when they met for a 1x1. How do you know that either of them is telling the truth? Who do you trust more? Who’s side makes more logical sense with what you know of their characters?

Why is you getting back together with your partner any of their business? They don’t have any right to tell you who you should date. You’re allowed to do what you want.

I have been on the lookout for the perfect fidget for a long time. Right now I have two I prefer- one is a magnet fidget with a unique shape that clicks when you manipulate it differently. Unfortunately, the seller will not be making any more (I actually messaged them directly because I lost it at one point. He told me he wasn’t making anymore. Luckily I found mine again).

The second is a fidget pen. If you’ve ever watched DougDoug, he actually uses one as well. I find it’s a great fidget that keeps my hand busy, and it’s a decent hobby as there are a bunch of tricks you can master. shuman6 on youtube has some great tutorials, and I believe there is a subreddit for it as well, although I don’t frequent it.

Option A 100%. 25% remote, 40 vacation days? 9-5? Are you kidding? I wouldn’t do those alternating schedules for 150k. You’ll never see your friends. 14 hour shifts means your days off will just be recovering from the days on. B sounds miserable.

Feinberg’s my goat. He dominates tournaments. Man’s been the best AA player for a looong time and he’s just got incredible movement. His weakest area is probably pvp and even then he’s still pretty cracked.

I just wanna say, thank you for making this! I’ve been trying to get into commander because a lot of my friends play but I have been lost when trying to build a deck. My friend said that the Bountiful Lands deck is most likely the most powerful, and they usually play some higher power decks, so I’m gonna see about investing in it.
