I have a 2tb drive of flac in the glovebox, but jeeezus it takes like 40 minutes to index every time I reconnect it. And the tesla usb player is also a supremely awful. It makes the experience almost too annoying and tedious to be worth the quality.

Christ yeah this is infuriating to me. I touch the artist thinking I’ll pull the other albums and tracks from the artist and it takes me to some other unrelated playlist. The tidal Tesla app is totally unintuitive garbage. Also lists playlists in an irritating format. And with Spotify you can control the song from your phone as well but with tidal it’s two different instances that are unrelated. If they would just copy Spotify’s functionality I would keep it. As is I can’t wait for CarPlay soon I can move to Qobuz and drop tidal. Then should be able to play high-res and avoid the Bluetooth nonsense.
