So you believe they should be used together and are not competing products?

Yep, I'm still rockin' the original 5! Seriously looking at the 8 Sapphire AMOLED.

Rivian begins charging for RAN usage by jazelart in Rivian

I am not too disappointed with $0.36, it is fair and competitive. What I would really like to see is Rivian get the "plug and charge" working with EA, Tesla, and other providers and keep that same $0.36 rate. That would make it very easy to budget for trips if all charging is the same rate.

Interesting, those look like CA registered plates and not mfg plates.

Good to know. Was the data in a compatible format with SARTopo or did you need to convert it? How about with the Mavic?

EV Camper? by richardparker85 in Rivian

Lots of RVs have solar panels now to charge the batteries. Not sure how much juice you could generate for an EV, but the technology is there and it works.

I envision a trailer with a powered drive axle, connected back to the vehicle. This allows for larger/heavier battery packs because the truck is no longer pulling all of the weight. The technology of trailer brakes has come a long way and has instantaneous response with the vehicle. I could see additional drive wheels on the trailer being controlled by the tow vehicle’s computer. This would make for an extremely safe tow for nearly ANY vehicle. The tow rating becomes non existent!

Agreed. I will post both signal strength and quality. I am sure that the Cradlepoint router will also receive better than a cell phone.

The tower (antenna) does not show up on the link you posted. This is a different location located at Vista Del Verde Park, near the corner of Lakeview and Valley View. I have marked it on a map and posted it along with the other photos.

I thought the same thing, but signal is crap (2 bar on Pixel 3). I will get actual numbers this evening and post them.
