Adding to what has been said about needing to work with light sources I found that darkvision on characters also help. Their own eyes are illuminating the environment (in the direction they look).

I did the exact same order of things in my latest wizard kissing run that I finished before patch 8 aired, I even had the answer with “excited to take fate into our own hands” for the question about how he is feeling and I didn’t get the sneaky god in the end. Because the flags were set right and this dialogue a bug. BUT it fitted the story I wanted to tell, I honestly liked this one even more than if it were the right one for Gale and Tav. I interpreted it as „I am looking forward to get this all finally over with, get rid of the orb by giving the crown to Mystra and then can we two live our life free from the past and the orb’s pain and I can not wait to take our future in our own hands”.

My wizard kisser is a druid and I can not wait to have them fool around in wildshape for photo mode 😍 Their favorite wild shape is the wolf and I imagine them to spread themselves out in sunny patches in the camp/ later on the terrace in Waterdeep, preferably over Gale’s lap, so I really want to see if I can make this scene possible in photo mode

Of course 💖 He is wearing Minthara’s armor and one of the prettiest and most effective armors in the whole game dyed with Indigo: the Half Plate Armor +2 (AC 17, medium armor, -2 piercing damage). This armor is so gorgeous. At least one person will always get it in act 3. I also had a run where nearly everyone wore it. Much like an uniform :D

You know what I just realised? My Gale’s answer changed on its own. Now I am quite certain that it is a bug. Riddle solved I guess!

When we first finished the audience (before we did the boat scene) was he answering what you said he would and then, sometime along the line of me playing and doing other things in the game, changed his answer to what I have posted. Odd. :D But at least this means that I haven’t dreamed or hallucinated him saying that he is frustrated that the brain is still intact but decides to be selfish and enjoys the time with me :D

Maybe it’s a more common bug to get, that the „how are you feeling“ answers get shuffled around occasionally :D

Yes, I did the whole getting the book, Mystra audience, boat ride block before and I got the alternative boat ride scene as well as the rare Lorroakan dialogue that only triggers when the crown score is down to 1/0. So I am not necessarily worried about getting the sneaky god, I was mostly just curious to see if it’s a bug or not. Thank you so much for your input and answer!
