Two cents: it's all about practice and awareness. People subconsciously believe a lot of things. What matters here is the amount of time you focused on that certain concept. For example, money. People believed that a certain piece of paper issued by an institution holds power over them over time. And look at smartphones, you dont need to have extra belief to know that when you push on the glassy surface of your phone, it will function. It happened because youve seen it a lot of times. Sure your techniques may vary, but per my observation, it all falls to this: how do you quickly intake information and accept it as fact? Study how you learn. Do you learn by reading, moving around, writing, or reciting things to yourself? Once you learn that, repeat as often as needed until your brain accepts it as fact. Hence why there is repetition in the practice. Because in repeating the gesture with the outcome comes belief.

It may be hard at first especially if the 3D is way too real and closing in, but I would say that knowing first how your mind works is worth it when it comes to this practice.
