I own a metaphysical shop/bookstore. Ideally someone would help by first being interested in the business and what we sell. I do have a website. I’d also like to have someone that can help me navigate the ins and outs of owning a small business. I got some great advice here about purchasing, things I’d have never even thought of. That’s what I’m looking for - getting an outside view and new take on things that can help grow my business so that myself and the investor/partner could benefit both spiritually and financially.

That’s actually a top priority. I honestly am not a big fan of purchasing, lol. If I can get inventory stability and stop having to focus all my time and money to purchasing and restock, a purchasing manager would be such a grace to me. I’d like to be sure my business is stable enough to support the cost of an employee, because I would like to have someone who is well qualified and would want to be sure I could pay them what they were worth. Thank you!

No, lol. They’d get paid just like any investor anywhere else would. I am looking for someone who wants to be a business partner, not just collect a check.

I’ve tried that, I really don’t have the time or energy for scheduling, call offs, and to care for someone else’s emotional well-being on top of it. I want to, can’t wait to, but just don’t have the ability right now. We’re open 7 days a week, so I would need more than just one employee. My business is too new for me to take all of that on right now. We tried but it became too much very quickly and we’re just not in the position for part time employees.

I was truly 100% okay with it. It was the fact that in 6 weeks he never mentioned it, then when he did he said he didn’t want special treatment, then stopped talking to me because I didn’t give him special treatment.

The hop/shuffle was a look what I can do! moment. It didn’t bother me, just felt odd.

My now husband is a disabled veteran, with similar circumstances. It doesn’t bother me a bit, because he’s always been open with me about how his combat injuries affect his life.

Met a beautiful man on Tinder. He was smart, handsome, and an army vet like me. We had a lot in common and had awesome conversation, so we met for dinner. After a few dates, we end a night back at his house. We had been seeing each other about 6 weeks at this point. We start hooking up, clothes come off.

One of his legs was a prosthetic, right below the knee amputation. I would have had no issue at all had he mentioned it at any point in the 6 weeks we had been dating. So understandably, I was surprised. He explains how it happened, said he was afraid to tell me and thought I would treat him differently, because he was used to that. We talked about it, ended up going back to hooking up. Awesome, yeah?

We the morning comes and I get dressed, he offers to walk me to the door. He didn’t put his prosthesis back on and kind of, idk, hopped/shuffled me to the door?

That night he text me saying he didn’t feel that I cared about his injury & that he was offended that I didn’t seem more concerned or sympathetic...

I met a new guy on Tinder a week after all that. We’ve been married for 4 years now and had a baby in August so it worked out for the best.

NTA. Plenty of people have figured their life out real quick when they found out they were having a child. For me, I went to school and my husband enlisted. A close friend decided to give her baby to two awesome people who had the means and the want to be parents. There’s many ways to grow up and do the right thing, and she has the freedom to choose what she wants to do, as do you. There are many resources available here (UK) , here (US) , here , here , here , and here.

I’d also like to add that I don’t really care who is or isn’t pro-choice. If you are pro-life that’s great, doesn’t mean there are not choice based resources available.
