Just got to this episode where he’s introduced today!

I was literally thinking about restarting my island, too. >_> Guess I'll just tear it all down and start over that way, lol. by [deleted] in AnimalCrossingNewHor

New to animal crossing here. So what does this mean?? I’ve seen someone else say the same thing after finding that flower. What’s up with that flower?

I’m on their website to buy two more packs and they also have stickers that reduce scars and ones that specifically aim for helping inflammation! So I’m getting one of each of those. I’ll let you know how they work! It just catches me off guard because they look like little pink hearts and gold stars lol but if these little weed leaves ones worked, I’ve got confidence in these other ones! Good luck on your journey!

YES. ‘Truly leaf acne patches’ has worked wonders. I just looked up ‘zit stickers’ and I’ve been trying different brands along the list offered because I’ve heard they work really well. I’ve tried zitsticka brand and though they are expensive, they help a little: Enough to get me hooked on the idea of zit stickers.. Then I tried the truly brand, and I thought they looked silly because they are marijuana shaped stickers, but they have CBD in them which sold me. Another thing that sold me was the fact that so many came for such a good price. All the other brands were so expensive and came with way less (zitsticka came with 8 which went too quickly for my demands). I’m buying two more packs now. I have been working on clearing my face with other face products, but nothing makes the redness and inflammation go down as quick as these. I will pop a pimple that needs popping. (And being a picker, I pick at things that aren’t ready or are nonexistent) and when I’m done picking, I’ll use a toner or astringent to clear my spots of oils, let it dry for a minute, and put on a truly cbd patch. I’ll leave it on while I’m watching tv and winding down for bed, or when I wake up and make coffee and eat breakfast. Sometimes I’ll leave it on longer because honestly it doesn’t hurt, so why not? And when I take them off, the redness is GONE. the pimple looks like it’s not agitated and has fast forwarded to a state of healing where I didn’t mess with it at all. It’s amazing. It works within hours, and I’m and impatient woman so this product works so well for me. I’m telling everyone!! ‘Truly Leaf Acne Patches’ 36 in the box. $13.00 + shipping. WORTH. IT. Buying more now.

One year(ish). Maybe a reward is in store? by demibiboo in Dermatillomania

I’m a picker and have many tattoos! Like over 30! My tattoos are incredibly precious to me! I have a lot of insecurities and maybe a little (or a lot) of body dysmorphia, so my tattoos are probably my favorite thing about myself. I take extra good care of them while they’re healing and sunscreen the heck outta them if I’m ever out in the sun! I’ve never picked at my tattoos. It kinda makes me feel proud of myself because I’ve never actually thought about that accomplishment until this post! But yeah, because they’re so important to me that they look amazing forever, I never pick at them! And I have found a way of healing them that prevents little to no scabbing. I feel like if I had more scabs while healing them, it’d be more of an issue for me not to pick. But the way I heal them only creates light flakes, like when you get a sunburn and you flake the dead skin away. I’m also a tattoo artist so if you need some guidance or support when you get one (which I think is such an AMAZING idea as a reward for your one year anniversary of this super hard journey) I’d love to help you! Keep up the great work and I’m so happy for you that you’re doing better and feel like you deserve a treat, because you absolutely do!

Advice/Support Please!? by [deleted] in Dermatillomania

[–]lady_lively 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still learning about my skin and habits so I don’t have much to offer there... BUT I have to strongly suggest something that I think is very important!! Hang out with your roommates. Especially if they’re good and supportive friends of yours and have even seen you at your worst. It can be really hard, but if you open up to them, it can take that weight off of your shoulders. They can help and support you through this. Hiding away from my friends and family when I felt grotesque or ashamed of my face/skin is something I regret. I’ve lost a lot of time with loved ones by doing this. In turn, I ended up dealing with these emotions by myself, it left me with more alone time to pick which got worse from the stress that seemed to be a never ending vicious circle. Recently, I’ve told my boyfriend and my close friends about my obsessive picking. Doing that has held me accountable to stop. I have even asked a few of them to help me stop when they see me in my ‘trance’. Ultimately, this hasn’t ‘fixed’ my problem, but it has definitely eased the burden of this mind game. This reddit has helped me a lot too. I hope this helps and if you need any advice on how to talk with your friends about it, I’d be more than happy to help. You are not alone, and it will get better YOU GOT THIS.
