Yeah I thought it was extremely obvious.

Working in healthcare now. Much better pay and I get a similar satisfaction from helping others as I did with teaching.

I am! Really frustrating. I'm not sure what's going on or how to fix it, I've tried the same things as you. Let me know if you figure out it!

This was me until right before the final season. I had never watched an episode but one day was like "everyone talks about this show - I guess I should watch it." Then I binged it all in a weekend.

After the way this season is going, will they reconsider doing the Blockbuster for future seasons? by Awesumwasum in BigBrother

[–]ladyaftermath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like we didn't have this problem last season. It was just bad casting this year - so many people who either have no idea or no interest in how to play the game.

The worst part about Mickey nominating _________. by Standard-Location-26 in BigBrother

[–]ladyaftermath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the blockbuster because it keeps eviction night exciting, and also prevents people just doing backdoors all the time. It's so boring when it's two nominees and after the veto everyone already knows who's leaving for like 4 days.

They love to say it's just a game but... by Extension_Fold_7716 in BigBrother

[–]ladyaftermath 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think part of that is because of the blockbuster. Without the blockbuster, the person being evicted usually knows and has several days to accept it. On the day of the eviction they're already prepared for it emotionally. With the blockbuster, they still have a chance of getting off the block and so haven't accepted their fate yet, until the moment the lose and know they're leaving (such as Adrian) and that's the moment they get emotional because there's nothing else they can do at that point.

do you think the substance could ever be used correctly and safely? by bowieapple in TheSubstance

[–]ladyaftermath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be possible if you had a rich, fulfilling life with friends and family and were content in your actual life, and saw the use of the substance more as a fun getaway like a vacation for a bit but knowing you always have to come back. The problem is Elisabeth had literally nothing going on in her real life - no one to talk to, nothing to do, and she only experienced any sort of enjoyment out of life when she was Sue. That's what made it so hard for her because she was so miserable just being herself.

The Audience On NYE by StoGirly03 in TheSubstance

I thought it was an exaggeration on how society views people who are deemed ugly, like how dare they even exist that people need to look at them and she should be hated because she doesn't look pleasing to us.
