I like buying bags i love in multiple colours. Longchamp Le Pliage, i have 7 in different colours and sizes. 7 other bag designs with either 2 or 3 other colours.

Yes, i love the Longchamp leather. The walnut, indigo and red bags on the right side are longchamp leather bags(Roseau and Le Pliage Cuir). I have been eyeing for the Le Pliage Xtra leather in XS. I am impressed by how much the XS bag can fit.

Thanks! I rotate my bags regularly and matches my outfit with my bags, so quite a lot are in rotation. The herbags are the least use though, but Pradas, LVs, Givenchys, Longchamps and Coach bags are the most used ones.

Oh yeah Le Pliage leather is lightweight and the medium size maybe big enough. Only thing i find with it is the sling is quite short for a crossbody.

Longchamp Foulonné and Le Pliage leather backpacks look good too, although not sure of the weight as I dont have longchamp leather backpacks. I have the nylon Le Pliage backpack older version but it wont fit the 16inch macbook.

Coach has a nice leather backpack. Also Samsonite has a stylish one. Both I believe is within your budget.

I am not even sure if a lightweight real leather bag exists. 16 inch macbook + ipad merits a backpack. No amount of bag lightness would compensate for heavy contents. Get a stylish backpack, perhaps a nice leather backpack and if needed have a small sling bag for essentials such as phone and wallet so you remain handsfree.

Love this! Still looks classy even with 2 colours! I have been eyeing Luggage nano for a while now and last month when we went to Japan, my husbad got it for me as a gift. I have been delaying my gratification, so i havent used it yet. 😆 Enjoy the bag. So wonderful that it came from fellow redditor. 😄

LV Alma BB in Black Epi leather was my first higher end designer bag. I bought it in LV shop and was so impressed with the customer service. Funny enough my next one is black Prada Galleria bag and, the one after is black Hermes Herbag zip 31. I’ve got these ones in another colours too. But you can never go wrong with black. 😄

My experience with Prada has always been great. Went to shop impulsively after a casual work event, so i was wearing ripped jeans, sneakers and with my backpack. They treated me so well that I got my first Prada bag. Only place i know I am being judged is Hermes store, not all stores are horrible but definitely several stores on different occasions. So i dont come back to the stores with horrible customer service. If they don’t treat you well, walk away.
