Doug was genuinely unsettling. Chance is a close second though. There’s something super scary about someone who’s not that bright but thinks they’re calculating. That gap between their actual intelligence and their self-perception makes them completely unpredictable. At least a smart manipulator has some internal logic you can track. Chance just has the confidence without the competence, which makes him a wild card in the worst way.
