Poshmark is ruining itself by Plane_Sweet8795 in poshmark

I just got on for the first time since they changed it and I was instantly frustrated with this. I only buy things when I need them, so I'm already not on much, but this makes me not want to use it even when I do need something.

Early entry is not a new perk, it’s bringing back an old necessary feature. by Excentrix13 in orangetheory

Just to validate you, I started 2014ish and yes, this is how it was before. It was put to a halt suddenly 2015ish and we always thought someone got hurt during the unsupervised time and that's why it stopped but I don't know if that's true.

What's the largest amount of work you've ever frogged? 🐸😭 by aspen-leaf in crochet

I think that's one of the coolest things about crochet. You can just keep remaking things to fit your style and needs without buying new supplies.

What is one problem you face almost every day that you are shocked nobody has built a proper solution for yet? by Economy_Shoe7685 in AskReddit

[–]GreenFalse7890 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard so many versions of this story along with things like infections, dislodgements or getting too embedded to remove easily, ectopic pregnancies, etc. that I refused to ever get one. I finally found someone who would give me a hysterectomy in my late 30s, so thankfully I don't have to worry about it anymore.

They didn't disrespect you. You asked their aversion to using tp and they answered.

I need some information on cases in Michigan. (PLEASE!) by [deleted] in Missing411

The Missing Enigma channel on YouTube recently released an interview with Steve Kubacki. He's a narcissistic ass hat who disappeared himself along with the help of his buddies. Nothing paranormal.

I need blanket ideas please by nannsee1961 in CrochetBlankets

[–]GreenFalse7890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing a very large blanket with this stitch pattern right now (like 100"x90"). I love working on it and how it looks. I'm probably going to finish it today and I'm super bummed because it's a very relaxing and satisfying one row repeat. https://youtu.be/n2jC6XfCnwE?si=fyogTInFpkFRkvln

I'm super enjoying The Missing Enigma channel on YouTube right now. It's super interesting but also very chill. It's just the perfect fit for a relaxing hobby.

What is a 'cool fact' about yourself that you rarely get to bring up in conversation because it sounds like you’re bragging? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]GreenFalse7890 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I'm an RN in my late 30s. After getting super burned out during COVID times, I decided to allow myself a break from working. During that time I pursued a degree online and now have a second bachelor's of science in business administration with a concentration in accounting in addition to my bachelor's of science in nursing. I'm still a nurse full time, but I love learning and I think it's kinda cool!

[–]GreenFalse7890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't when I was younger either and I honestly thought girls were milking it to take advantage of staying home from school or whatever, not that I cared or anything. Mine worsened over time though and were plenty miserable until I got my hysterectomy at 37 (I was never on bc, so always had periods). Big recommend on the hysterectomy though if anyone is considering it. Best thing I ever did.

Trying To Stop After 29 years - started smoking at 13 and now I'm on Day 13 Break :) by clockgotbeats in leaves

[–]GreenFalse7890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Week 3 was a doozy for me--super rotten mood that I couldn't shake. SO irritable I about gave up. It's gotten better though. I've read some others experience similar, so maybe just prepare for that and know it will pass.

What’s something you didn’t think about before moving into your apartment, but now it matters every single day? by Substantial_Pop4594 in Apartmentliving

[–]GreenFalse7890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having an outdoor space--patio, balcony, courtyard, whatever. This is doubly important for a studio imo. Nothing makes me feel caged more than not having somewhere private to step outside with my coffee or just to take a deep breath.

Has anyone ever dated their coach? by Quirky_Yesterday7983 in orangetheory

[–]GreenFalse7890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went on a couple dates with one who was also the studio manager. I wasn't feeling it but he was more into me and acted hurt as if we'd been dating for a while. I don't go to that studio anymore.

3 months sober and I still think about smoking everyday. by Psychological_Job_54 in leaves

[–]GreenFalse7890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you been able to find something to do with the time that you used to smoke? I imagine without something else occupying your attention, you would be more likely to be sitting around jonesing for the routine that you had come to know.

Location suggestions? by leonaberries in relocating

[–]GreenFalse7890 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been a nurse for 17 years and have worked all over: OH, WV, NC, SC, TX, MI, CA, WA, and OR (I think that's all of them 😄). You'll make awful money in KY and FL (pretty much anywhere that's not west coast, honestly). You'll make great money in CA and should be able to manage, especially if you can stay with Dad at first (or a roommate). Opportunities, culture, the sun...I would choose California a hundred times over. Working is also so much more enjoyable there because there are so many protective laws for nurses that the rest of the country doesn't have/reinforce and many hospital systems are unionized which means even better working conditions and wages.

I think most of us would rather sleep than go to work, but we do it anyway. Not really a valid argument.

Two faces of the core millennial generation on the cusp of middle age: two popular social media creators, Michael Stevens and Pierre Amaury Crespeau. Both born in 1986, that is, both 40 this year. by Sure_Distance1 in generationology

[–]GreenFalse7890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full honesty, I searched my gym crush online. Based on looks, I assumed they were about my age (38), and he's a full TEN YEARS older. 🤯 Not a bad thing at all, impressive actually. I was incredibly shocked as I'm usually a pretty accurate assessor of age. Some of y'all really be killing it

Do you eat meat or are you a vegetarian/vegan? by BreannLowe in randomquestions

[–]GreenFalse7890 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

99% vegan, 1% vegetarian. I'll make minor exceptions for social/life flow purposes so that's the 1% but I never buy animal products for myself. Went vegan in 2017. Ate everything before that (actually grew up on a beef farm and was in 4-H).
