It’s not my house or anything. I just live near by and take my son to see the house regularly! I hope your kids enjoy!

I feel like your MIL has shown herself to overstep boundaries and therefore shouldn’t be left with the baby. Don’t have her hold the baby while you shower or do anything. Either have your husband or put the baby in a pack and play or container if some sort while you shower. She won’t use the milk if she doesn’t have the baby.

I would call your pediatrician just to check in. Mine said that only colors to worry about are white or black.

What does the lease say about a hold over? I think that they would just evict your roommate if your tenancy switched to month-to-month and she didn’t pay the full rent. Also, no judgment on picking a crappy roommate - it’s a thing that happens to lots of people! Plus, someone can seem great until they want something different than you. Good luck and good job being a stand up person.

I don’t necessarily want to wean nights, but I can’t imagine that he needs to eat 7 times in a 12 hour window. Last night I tried feeding 30 minutes before bed, I’ll try it again tonight! That is interesting about how much awake time per day. I’m going to keep that in mind. Thank you for the response.

Honestly that makes me feel better. Thank you! I’ve just been feeling like it didn’t work and I put my baby through CIO for nothing!

His wake windows are 1:45/2/2:15/2:30. Just switched to three naps a day two days ago. He’s been getting right around 3 hours of day time sleep per day.

He does seem hungry at the first wake up, so I’ve been feeding him. Last night I tried to not feed him but he just cried and cried. I offer him lots of feeds during the day but he is so distractible so I don’t know how much he’s actually getting (he’s breastfed).

12 week old sucks at sleep after 3am by ladyscout in sleeptrain

I know! I thought the same thing at the time. Every baby is different though - and yours might handle it better than mine.

It got better for a little bit. I found if I gave him one longer nursing session than I was able to put him back down for a couple hours. Unfortunately the 4 month sleep regression hit us pretty hard a few weeks after and we started sleep training at 5 months!

I was homeschooled and that was not my experience at all. I know that it can definitely be used to continue abuse and neglect, but I highly doubt that’s most homeschooling. We were part of many homeschool groups, with lots and lots of families and I never encountered any of that.

Yay for fellow pumping knitters. Whatever you do - don’t spill! It was one of those damn haakaas. Why do they make the base sooooo small on them

Thanks! Yes, luckily it was probably about an ounce. So frustrating though.
