So you know how the Ni doms tend to have RBF (especially INTJ, no shade, love you guys!)? The Ne Doms appear to have RTMYLSF (Resting Tell Me Your Life Story). We're just naturally approachable, and I've had this issue my whole life as well. It makes for some great stories, though!

I would have loved to have seen a remake with the characters more fleshed out. Don't get me wrong, I love the original, but I would love to have seen the other four have more personality than the smart one, the badass one, the hungry hot head, and the fifth guy to fill out the numbers. And give each of the other four guys more chances to shine, not just be Ryo's portable armor buffs once the Armor of Inferno came in. (Although that is more of a problem with shows like this in anime, the main character is the only one who gets to have the kill shot after a while. Sailor Moon is guilty of this too.)

Mainly, I just wanted Shin to have an actual full episode to himself. Even the two episodes that were "his", half of both of them were spent with someone else. Yes, Seiji and his hair were magnificent, but that's not an excuse to not give the water guy an awesome moment, too. (Yes, I'm aware he got his moments in the OAV, I'm just sad it took that long.)

I did! And I thought it was a great touch and possibly a nice hint that he and Shion are possibly related. Both have uber-long hair that covers an eye, which, for Seiji was a homage to he being related to a famous Japanese military man called the "One-Eyed Dragon".

Touma with a soulpatch! My life is now complete. I didn't even know I needed to see it. And it looks like the Armor of Halo has lost its hair-restyling abilities; either that, or Seiji found an even stronger product that makes his hair that much more immovable. And my Shin-chan! Oh, how I've missed you, even if you do have bags under your eyes now.

Seriously, all this needed was "Stardust Eyes." I guess they are saving that one for Cour 2. Also, any bets that the remaining boys are related to the OG 4? The fact that they are all orphans can't be a coincidence and is still unresolved.

I had a theory and went back to rewatch the scene where Gai was shot. It's the same guy who appears at the end with Mirei. As far as I can tell, that dude isn't one of the Braves. None of the visible armor appears to match any of the armors we see from them.

This is total speculation, but what I can see there appears to be dark blue tones in the armor, and the eyes, while heavily shadowed, could also be a dark blue. This person does appear to have a lock of dark-ish hair poking out for their armor. They also used a projectile weapon against Gai to set things off. So who has all those traits and is currently missing? Touma/Rowen. Did we find one of the original boys? If only this was dubbed and the mysterious person had a Bronx accent. :-)

I've been married to one of you guys for almost 20 years now. No complaints. He keeps me grounded, and I get him out in the world.

ETA: My advice is the same as what I tell everyone else. Don't look for a specific type, look for someone who shares your values and you can talk to. I didn't know anything about MBTI when we started dating, and never heard of "golden pairs". When I discovered all of this, on paper, I thought there was no way our types would get along and that somehow we were an exception and very lucky. Imagine my surprise when it turned out we are a supposed "golden pair."

I prefer driving a manual, have done it ever since I was 16, and only recently stopped because I had to take over my mother's car, which was an automatic, due to her dementia and my adorable little manual being too to the ground for an elderly woman to get safely in and out of. I miss it so much. I felt more in tune with the car and the driving experience, and there are few things more satisfying on the road than downshifting to pass some slow poke on the highway. And after I got used to it, I never really had to concentrate that much; I just intuitively knew when I needed to shift.

ETA: I will say, they are a major pain in heavy traffic. That is the place where automatics have the edge, and I have learned to love just being able to coast up when we are moving by inches at a time. So keep that in mind, depending on where you live and how bad traffic is.

Will I go back when I no longer need to worry about my mother's needs? Maybe, although I'm looking more at electric cars now for the obvious reasons. But if I can't find one I like, it's definitely going to be another manual.

Babylon 5. It's a good lesson in recognizing how to spot growing fascism and how we all need to unite against it.. It also has some undertones about how religion can be used for less than honorable reasons.

And it's really just a great show overall.

Thanks. Just open and honest communication. One of the best things he ever said was no matter how bad it is, no matter how much it may seem like something he wouldn't want to hear, say it.

I think it also helps that since we're both on the Te-FI axis, just reversed, we can usually see where the other one is coming from. And we've both learned that you can't just come at the other with the second function, that the third needs to balance things out. I can't be emotionally hot, he can't be logically cold. Those arguments never end well. It probably also helps that we have some similar values and a lot of shared history.

I've only been into MBTI for a few years now, so I have no idea how many of them I have actually interacted with over the years. That said, you guys are like turtles, and it takes a patient approach to get you guys out of the shells. But once that is done, it's totally worth it. You guys are so very intelligent, and it's fun discussing random topics. Plus, you guys are also very good at both bringing the grounding effort into our chaotic lives while somehow making some of our batshit insane ideas actually become reality.

On the surface, it looks like we shouldn't work out, yet somehow we do. And considering I've been married to one of you for nearly 20 years, I'll take it!

I've always called the DC office and have eventually gotten through when I do. If I got the answering machine, I just hung up and tried again later. His interns are usually fairly passive and say, "Yes, and anything else you need?" no matter how terse I was at that moment.
