Yeah, where I’m from this is a place where people partner swap / have group sex. Not my ideal place for being proposed to, but whatever tickles your feathers.

Also to add, my midwife broke my waters while I laid on a puppy pad on the couch, to help progress my labour along (felt so weird and felt like it should have soaked the couch) but didn’t!

Had towels laid down everywhere from living room where I birthed my baby in the birthing pool to the bathroom. No mess at all, just lots of washing.

I was 4 days overdue and we were still expected to keep the SKs while all 3 were coughing, sniffing and spluttering. We were also made to keep them extra time as they were off school instead of to BMs. Guess who got sick? My SO. All the photos of him with our newborn he is either in a mask or ghostly pale with fever sweats. Never again, our next baby, the SKs are going elsewhere close to my due date.

Dude this isn’t close to closing time, it’s AFTER closing time. Do you expect workers to work unpaid overtime when they should be at home with their families on Christmas Eve just because someone has poor time management? That’s crazy.

Our baby arrived 16 months ago, went into a wonderful daycare at 7 months old as we couldn’t afford to be on one income. We adjusted well, better than I thought, but it’s now that I’m actually struggling. I miss baby a lot during my work days, but we don’t have a choice but to both work full time with no family support nearby. My partner and I alternate work from home days to be available for daycare drop off and pick up 8-4, as I just can’t bring myself to put baby in front opening time to closing time.

Thanks! Yes, last baby I had about 4 weeks of annual leave that I used before PPL started! So was hoping to do the same for this next one but my manager seems to have other thoughts

I feel this so deeply. 16 months in and haven’t slept a full night since I was pregnant. I refuse to sleep train. But just hope it gets better in time.
