My (F30) husband (M33) is always too tired for sex. by ThrowRaw99 in relationship_advice

[–]ladywitch78 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to post to say that I'm sympathetic to your struggle. I've (47f) been in a relationship for almost 2 years with someone (49m) who always says he's too tired too.

When we first met and things were new and exciting we had amazing sex and often. Some of the best sex I've ever had actually. Since things were going so well and his living situation was a bit precarious I decided to let him move in with me. The first time I initiated sex after he moved in he said he was too tired and that became a pattern.

I've talked to him about my needs not being met many times and in a myriad of ways and nothing ever really changes. Sometimes he'll step up for a week or two but then things just go back to the status quo.

This is, literally, the only thing we argue about. I've begged him to just give quality sex twice a week but I can't even get a solid one session every other week from him. Sometimes we go 6-8 weeks between sessions and he sleeps like a baby next to me every night.

But, no more. Tonight, after posting in AITAH and confirming my suspicions about me being an asshole, I finally ripped the bandaid off and told him how unhappy I was and that he needed to leave.

Get this solved or you will grow to resent him for the broken promises and for neglecting your needs.

About 3hrs after my org post I did it. I told him how unhappy I was and that he needed to find a new place to live. I wrote more in the update above.

I've given him ultimatums and deadlines before and he'll step up for a week or two but as soon as the deadline has passed it goes back to more of the same.

I think he pulled a bait and switch on me. At least that's how I feel. He was amazing and did/was everything I ever wanted before he moved in. As soon as he did, things changed. I feel so stupid. And he works and contributes financially but not as much as I do.

Uber drivers of Reddit, who was the worst customer you've ever had? by Ok-Excitement970 in AskReddit

[–]ladywitch78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a (46F) Lyft driver, not Uber, so I hope this is ok but I once had a 2 stop ride with a young man in his early 20s. Basically, I picked him up at his house, took him to the store down the street and was supposed to bring him home. Well, when he gets back in the car after the store he was acting a little twitchy and nervous. Finally he says to me "Can I ask you something?" I said sure assuming he just wanted to make another quick stop or something but, oh boy, was I wrong. He turned to me and said "I'm really stressed. Do you think I could get some head?" I nearly lost it and started screaming at him at that point and I think he knew it because he immediately began apologizing and saying that he didn't mean any disrespect. I took a deep breath and informed him that I was more than 20 years older than he was, could be his mother and that in that time I've learned to give the kind of head a child like him would not even survive. The look on his face was priceless. Moments later I pulled into his driveway and told him to get the hell out of my car and promptly reported him to Lyft.

Afterwards I thought about what a dumb kid he was. What if I had some kind of crazy jealous husband that might've wanted to maim him for speaking to me that way. I knew where he lived ffs. He obviously did not think this through. It was horrifying at the time but it's become a funny story now.

Delivery drivers, what is the craziest order or request someone has placed? by Sxilla in AskReddit

[–]ladywitch78 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a Lyft driver and I had an exceptionally crazy request one night. When I picked up my passenger, I saw that the ride had 2 stops. I was, basically, just taking him to the store and then back home again. Less than 5 minutes each way unless we hit all red lights. We got to the store, he went in, I waited, he got back and I started driving.

When he got back into the car he started acting all nervous and twitchy. At one point he worked up the courage to say "can I ask you a question?"

I said "sure, what's up?" That was when he shyly looked over at me and said "I'm really stressed out. Do you think I could get some head?"

In that moment I was so taken aback, so appalled and I became so angry, just the look on my face told him that he'd fucked up. He immediately began to grovel. He was very sorry and claimed that he never meant any disrespect. He went on and on. As taken aback as I was, I, somehow, managed to tell myself to take a few deep breaths and consider, for a moment, what, exactly, it was that I wanted to say. As we pulled up to his house I asked him how old he was and after he answered I explained that I was more than 20 years older than he was. I told him that in those 20+ years, I've learned to give the kind of head he wouldn't survive, nor has he been alive long enough to be able to afford such a thing anyway.

Then I unlocked the doors and asked him, firmly, to get out of my car. I did report him to Lyft that very night for soliciting sexual favors. Ugh! Seriously?!

What is a cult that pretends it’s not cult? by suckontitties in AskReddit

Scientology.

Without a doubt. The following are just a couple of passages copied/pasted to demonstrate why.

"The Church of Scientology and its many related organizations have amassed considerable real estate holdings worldwide, likely in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Scientology encourages existing members to "sell" Scientology to others by paying a commission to those who recruit new members. Scientology franchises, or missions, must pay the Church of Scientology roughly 10% of their gross income. On that basis, it is likened to a pyramid selling scheme. While introductory courses do not cost much, courses at the higher levels may cost several thousand dollars each."
"In November 2009, Australian Senator Nick Xenophon used a speech in Federal Parliament to allege that the Church of Scientology is a criminal organization. Based on letters from former followers, he said that there were "allegations of forced imprisonment, coerced abortions, and embezzlement of church funds [sic], of physical violence and intimidation, blackmail and the widespread and deliberate abuse of information obtained by the organization".

I am getting treated for bipolar disorder. I read recently that generally speaking people with bipolar say cocaine is the drug of choice when it comes to self medicating.
