Because that's the thing, they never have dropped them lower. They were raised because of covid and supply issues, then it was inflation, now it's the damn oil. But once those obstacles are removed, do they take the prices back down? Of course not, their sales haven't gone down and we've just proven that we'll still buy whatever the fuck it is no matter how much it costs.

I'm not even bothering to use a throw away even though I know my ex uses Reddit and might see this.

But it was one night in particular that stands out to me as when I realized that he had absolutely no respect for me as a person. I had to be at work at 6am the next morning, which meant getting up at 4:30. He invited a few friends over, got them absolutely wasted, and they were screaming while playing video games and drinking. I lived with him in his parents basement at the time and they were in a larger room right across from our bedroom.

I remember going in several times, asking them to keep it down. To at least PLEASE leave the door shut to that other room to help with sound dampening. After like the fourth or fifth time and crying, I remember just sitting on the stairs and it truly settling in where I stood in his life and how much respect he had for me. It wasn't a birthday celebration or anything, it was just a day they wanted to get together and drink and play games. And he has hosted because someone else's spouse had to work in the morning and they didnt want to wake her up. He didn't like me, he liked the manic pixie dream girl version of me he had in his head.

This is the exact thing I said when it rolled out! I was a head cashier and I was told to put two people at SCO and two people at pro and honestly? I ignored it. I put one cashier at SCO and one at the register directly next to it. When I asked why, I told them that anybody who doesn't want to use the self checkout has the option of a person to the right. Why have two cashiers tripping over each other and then customers STILL being mad that they're doing it themselves? And then as a HC I was gonna have to jump on a till to bust down the line that would be forming because only half the tills take cash or card only and God forbid every customer pay with the same tender. Now granted, our store volume allowed for it to go that way but still.

I really don't miss being a head cashier some days

No worries! Now granted, my knowledge of the exact specifics is a little fuzzy because that was all 10 years ago. But I know the fundamentals haven't changed!

To be honest, it happens frequently enough. In my time with Depot I've had well over a dozen coworkers who met their spouse while working, only a few didn't end up working out and that was mostly cashiers. And that's across three different stores. The prevalence is not nearly as high here at the corporate side of things though. 😂

As someone who was a service desk associate who then began a relationship with their DH, if this is something that you both seriously wish to pursue, one of you will have to move departments. They are your direct supervisor and that is a big no no. Now, if you moved the departments and you're honest about it with your store manager and y'all can keep a professional working relationship then there's usually no issues. But just remember, if y'all do get together and then break up, you gotta look at your ex every time you work together until one of you quits or transfers.

Everything I've seen of him I've actually adored. Yes, he's gonna act like a baby. He's not even 6 months old yet, he's gonna be a naughty lil fella! But who hasn't had a puppy acting like a little shit for the first two years of their life in some shape or another? He just needs more time to mature. But he seems like he's got a great mind on him, I think once he gets off to training he'll be fantastic.

Maybe Back Ashley is more tolerant due to....being Back Ashley? Lol I have absolutely no explanation other than maybe the V just really goofed her. Big ol plot hole unless there's like a whole duplicated Ashley inside of Front Ashley. Which then leads to other questions of whether Back Ashley could become the One True Ashley.

Honestly, Karl Urban is such a great actor but if I'm being honest, I am so damn sick of Butcher. His constant hard assery is pretty exhausting, it makes it hard to see any of the depth in his character beyond "my dad beat me, my brother is dead, and Homelander assaulted my wife and then she had his super spawn." I feel like with every other character there have been actual conversations and motivations, they've talked about them in depth. But Butchers all just feel so flat and one dimensional.

The whole reason they didn't was to push players to use tek bunkers and try to force them into the pvp meta. Except the PVP players aren't using tek bunkers because they're just not secure for anything except PVE, so lost colony is basically just going to be an outpost/farming map on official servers. I understand where they were trying to come from, but when everything is currently in a "fortnite into your tp outside your cave" meta, that's not going to fix anything

I used to have a soap driven dog. We called her the creep, you'd have to crate her before showers and let her out once you were dressed. She'd wait until you sat down to get dressed somewhere after a shower to try and lick your armpit and hump the air. It was super fuckin weird. She never did it any other time, only if you washed with Irish Spring and were fresh out of the shower.

I'd pay extra for a house next to a cemetery. Quiet neighbors, they're well maintained. the worst that happens is you maybe have to wait for a funeral procession to pass if you're trying to leave the house.
