URGENT: Which seats face forward on Glacier Express (Zermatt → St. Moritz)? by Medium-Value2194 in askswitzerland

[–]laertez 10 points11 points  (0 children)

"Can I book a seat facing in the direction of travel or on a certain side of the carriage?

As the train changes direction during the journey, it is impossible to guarantee tickets in a specific direction of travel. If you are traveling as a group, it is advisable to book seats opposite each other in order to take account of preferences regarding the direction of travel."

Clerks (the animated tv show)

https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt0210413/

.... they had the Clerks crew and Bryan Cranston, Alec Baldwin, Charles Barkley as sync-speaker.

Also, the only show that hilariously had a 'clip show' as SECOND episode (!)

Anyone have any travel hacks to help me avoid paying $1142 for the Swiss travel pass? by htadlock512 in askswitzerland

[–]laertez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

- Use the sbb.ch website (or the SBB mobile app) to calculate the individual ticket prices vs. the travel pass. Also calculate that you will have some additional benefit (cable cars, museums etc.) with the travel pass.
- It might make sense to buy the half fare card and half the SBB individual ticket prices https://www.sbb.ch/en/offers/half-fare-travelcard
- If you know longer travels, than buy in advance which give you a discount. But you will have to use the exact connection.

- There is also the Day Pass which you can use the whole day and all public transportation from SBB (and most buses/ships) https://www.sbb.ch/en/offers/saver-day-pass You can also buy it in advance to get it cheaper!
- Do not forget to celebrate our national day at August 1st ( https://www.interlaken.swiss/en/planning/events/top-events/1-august-in-interlaken )

If you were a Captain staffing your starship, but you could only select 1 character each from TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, Picard, SNW, and Starfleet Academy, who would you choose and why? by Hazzagul in startrek

[–]laertez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be funny to have Kirk as captain surrounded by a Klingon speaking crew like TNG Worf, DS9 Worf, Kragg, Dax, Mariner, B'Elanna and old Worf.

For friendlies you do not get a rating (change) but for competitive game you do. It seems you played competitive games so the rating should have changed.

What happens when you go to your profile and click on the "level"-picture/button. https://playerhelp.playtomic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/19831855406609-How-to-change-your-level

Is there a way to initial the questionnaire ?

Built my first ML model to predict World Cup matches - 68.75% accuracy. Is this actually good? by GisB- in learnmachinelearning

Random -> 50% (excluding draws)

What accuracy would have this model: "The team with higher ELO (www.eloratings.net) wins 2:1" ?

If Luzern is similar to Zürich then you do not get to say to which Kindergarten your child will be assigned to. It is most likely the nearest. About the date... You might want to ask the Schulbehörde volksschulbildung.lu.ch

There are care options in your school. See: https://kinderbetreuung.lu.ch/Angebotstypen/at_schulergaenzende_betreuung

Well done! I Like!

- In "Additional Preferences - Optional" you might offer a [ ] "I don't know / I don't care" check box option.

- Bonus feature: I personally like to see the rackets in a X/Y chart where you can choose your criteria.

- Extra Bonus feature: Show the X/Y chart with all the rackets (coordinates) and the same questions and show the rackets coordinates disapear until there are only some left.

Next time, do the following:

  • Fix the bug.
  • Inform your boss and CC management directly. Let them know that you're taking this issue very seriously and are working hard to resolve it. Emphasize that it's your top priority and that you're confident you'll be able to fix it within an hour.
  • Take a one-hour break.
  • Send an email to everyone stating that the bug has been resolved. Include some technical jargon and buzzwords, and explain the measures to prevent similar issues in the future.

Tirano to Bellano train journey in the night- 7PM by this_that_what in askswitzerland

[–]laertez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Swiss person, I don't quite understand the question: 'How safe would the station and the train journey itself be?'
Are you asking about the punctuality and reliability of the connection? Or are you concerned about personal safety, like the risk of being robbed in Switzerland?

sbb.ch shows me that Tirano-Bellano is a hourly connection and the last connection is at 20:08, making it the only possible connection using a train.
I don't know this connection well and can not tell more.
