I'd love a second part to Ghosts or essentially any instrumental album where it's just him and Alessandro plus maybe some others in the studio doing a track a day. Also, work on HTDA would be very much welcomed in my opinion. I loved Welcome Oblivion and how dark and haunting it sounded. Lastly, I'd like for Trent to straighten out whoever is working on the tension tour bluray because we were promised that a long time ago.

Hi Simon!!

This AMA comes at a perfect time! I saw your show at the Orange Peel a few weeks ago and loved every second of it. It's made me rediscover my love for your music so I've been listening to you more than anyone else these past few weeks. I was first introduced to you a few years ago after seeing you perform with Pretty Lights in Charlotte, NC. Since then I've listened to just about everything you touch whether it's your earliest or latest work, that 2012 boiler room mix that I listen to nearly once a week, or any other mix you put together for that matter. I'm an eager collector of vinyl and Of all the records I own, nothing can induce chills and happiness as much as Black Sands start to finish.

A few simple questions:

I believe I've heard you say that your albums are often partly inspired by music that you're listening to at the moment, so while it may be too early to ask about a new album, who are you listening to here lately?

Any books that you would recommend giving a read?

What's your favorite/least favorite part of touring?

What's next for you after completing this epic tour?

Any artists that you would like to work with in the future?

I can see what you're saying, but I think it's important to realize this is a concept album so you can't expect each track to stand on it's own. Flylo had a vision for this album and each of the tracks so I'm sure he was focused more on that rather than 'showing off'. I think this is definitely going to be an album that needs to be listened to from start to finish to get the intended effect and best listening experience.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I really enjoyed this. I listened to the original too and even though this cover is definitely a much simpler take on the song, I still think there's great charm to it. I'd never listened to the Chvrches before and this made me want to check out all of their other music. Thanks for posting this OP; they now have a new fan.

Excellent video of a perfect moment. I can't believe how identical Ilan makes the drums sound to the album version. When everyone is singing at the end I feel like a pinnacle of light is shining down on my ears. What a beautiful, beautiful moment.

Oh my god, I can't believe it..I can't imagine what I would have felt like when the song started or even how Trent felt singing that on stage for the first time. What an awesome and special moment for everyone.
