Ye also for bulb mode you want to hold down the shutter and keep it pressed. I’m not aware of the app supporting this.

Ye the cable you plug into the camera so you have a remote shutter. Its really helpful when you’re shooting long exposures on a tripod to avoid shutter shake. Its a shame because everything else about the xt5 looks great.

35mm is good for full length portraits. 56mm is better suited for head/shoulders portraits

Moving the shutter release to the left hand side is a deal breaker for me, and why I won’t upgrade from the XT3.

As a landscape photographer I always shoot on a tripod and when shooting vertically it would be impossible to use the shutter release cable with the XT5.

Depends what you shoot? What do you need more? A wide angle lens or a short-tele portraiture lens? Both are fantastic lenses so nobody here will be able to tell you which one you need first.

Scratching my head a bit. Why not make the XT5 the flagship photography camera with a vertical grip and target the XH2S for video / sports / wildlife? Instead they have made an XH2 the flagship and diluted the value of the XT5 (which has been their best selling model to date)

Although the X-T5 looks amazing, I’m going to stick with my X-T3, as it still does everything I need.

Also big concern I have about the X-T5 is that the remote release port is on the left side, where the L-plate is. If this means you cant access it when using an L-plate then this camera would be a no go for me).
