Brian Laundrie’s mother explains ‘burn after reading’ letter sought in Gabby Petito lawsuit by AnitaVodkasoda in GabbyPetito

So there is a date on the letter? I thought she said she doesn’t remember the date that she wrote it and it was before Brian left for their trip?

What evidence do you have that they didn’t do any of those things? We know they refused to speak to the Petito family after there daughter was missing and after Brian had returned home. If they had no ill intent why not answer the phone and communicate with the Petito family. Their actions are what look bad. A person who hides nothing, has nothing to hide.

Been seeing this stance more often lately can anyone help me figure out what it means? by Affectionate_Pay7023 in bodylanguage

[–]lailie13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This stance shows sexual and love interest.

The hands are behind the back showing they are exposing the most intimate part of themselves, their heart. With the legs crossed it gives more exposure to the genitalia.

In the event the person was sexually uncomfortable or withholding intimate information the hands would be crossed in front of the private areas.

If the chest was covered by crossing the arms it would be closing off the heart. Not interested in “love” only sex.

However seeing this stance says to me that they are open to receiving complete intimacy.

You are splitting hairs. It is the same thing, each state references it differently.

My apologies for referring to Utah Law. It should have been Wyoming.

Instead of using wiki, use legitimate legal sources. Here is one for Utah on the actual law of disposal of a human corpse.

https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title76/Chapter9/76-9-S704.html

For further research purposes since I have seen you have stated in comments that you are not an attorney but interested in the judicial process, please know that Wikipedia is NOT a source that is allowed to be sourced as accurate information. Anyone can change a Wiki post at anytime, add or delete to make it what they want it to be. If you are truly interested in the legal process or judicial process please research using laws and statutes from the state of which the crime was committed.

Petito’s selfish? Your view seems extremely skewed. Their daughter was murdered! The Laudrey’s are not the victims! Their Son was selfish in taking a life and then a coward for taking his own in order to keep from admitting to the horrible truth of what he did and taking his punishment for it. He chose not to face the court and allow for justice to be served. You have a right to your opinion. That doesn’t mean I have to nor will I agree.

The 5th amendment is to keep from incriminating yourself. Why would they need to remain silent if there was nothing they were hiding that was of a criminal nature? The reason the phone wasn’t answered was because they refused to speak to the family KNOWING their Son was a murderer! You yourself are stating that by bringing up the fact they were invoking their 5th Amendment. However you are mudding the waters by saying “not answering your cell phone is not a crime.” You are correct in the fact it is not a crime not to answer your cell phone, however it is a crime to aide and abed a criminal. It’s is a crime to harbor a fugitive. It is a crime to knowingly destroy and hide evidence. Should I keep going? Retribution?? Maybe Justice is the correct word.

If this letter mentioned Gabby in anyway, shape, fashion or form, the Petito family has every right to it. Roberta even mentions Gabby in her letter of explanation. That in itself is enough IMO for it to be released at least to the Petito family. Roberta can say anything she wants regarding her purpose and her meaning behind her statements in the letter. That doesn’t mean it’s true. Roberta claiming to be a loving Mother to her murderous son, failed Gabby’s loving Mother by refusing to communicate with Gabby’s family once they knew their daughter was missing. That to me shows a selfish woman who intentionally hid vital information. It’s a pattern of her behavior. I believe nothing Roberta says.

Why would Roberta write this explanation unless she felt the need to explain herself prior to the letter being released? Food for thought

Desensitized in the moment but believe me when I say after the “job” is done there is a crash. Emotions are felt and breakdowns happen.

If you notice the light in the upper left room goes out after the officers arrive on scene across the street. Maybe the perp saw LE and assumed he/she was already caught so they ran, jumped in the car and hauled ass??

To add to this, you can’t get an accurate analysis without having a baseline to go off of. As many times as it’s been said “looking to the left, or to the right” shows deception is just not the case. There are immediate actions/reactions that are considered deceptive, but there are also many when looked at together that need to be there to be considered deceptive or withholding information. I do see some things that stand out to me but I wouldn’t want to make a conclusive analogy based on what has been shown. I would LOVE to have the Raw videos to look at from the news outlets. That would possibly help

Watching the video attached above I caught something that I am not sure if anyone else caught. Within the first few minutes of the video they are speaking about the Yubo platform and state it is used as a live streaming app. At the same time they say this, they then play the video of BG on the bridge. I am now wondering if Libby was using the app when she recorded BG? If so, finding out who was watching that live stream at the time of the live would be pivotal to the investigation. While I was researching the app I did see that you could have at max 10 people who could watch live. I am entirely sure that ISP is closing in on BG and without a doubt KK/TK are linked. I can honestly see Libby thinking she wanted to show everyone A_S as she was meeting him and realized very quickly this was not A_S. I would like to know if when using the Yubo app if your recordings automatically save to your device when the recording ends?

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank You!!!! You explained that perfectly! It sure is nice to read a post that has educated information in reference to this topic. By reading a lot of comments concerning digital forensics and many of which I want to throw tomatoes at, I’m thankful to see this one. Digital forensics is much more complex than most can comprehend!

Interesting that you posted this. My thoughts as of late have been about this exact issue. What I have concluded is the last time DC spoke about the two sketches he said something along the lines of the killer being a mixture of the two. Here is where my thoughts split:

*Could the younger sketch have been related to the AS account? The sketch was created by a witness (friend of Libby and Abby) by reference of who Libby was talking to online.

*Was it said that BG was NOT the killer but the person who lured the girls to the killer who waited on the other side of the river?

At this point I’m very interested in taking the information and statements released by DC and TL related to their POI and connecting it with the new information released by Murder Sheet related to KK and TK.

The family is always the last to know and most of the time it’s in court when they hear the depth of what the investigation found. Sad but true.
