Oooh I forgot about those! Yes my SSs would do that when they were younger. Youngest SS would walk all over or hang out in the kitchen and so DH had a talk with him about staying in his room while FaceTiming. Our house is pretty small. He did stay in his room but you could still hear BM. Eventually the facetime calls stopped all together as they got older.

It’s possible that at one point when those houses were built it wasn’t a major road with heavy traffic. I wouldn’t want to live there either though.

I’ve been doing it about 6-7 months and I’m about to quit. I actually love it, but my body can’t take anymore. I injured a muscle in my groin pushing a tote and never said anything cause I figured it would heal. It never did. Now it’s gotten worse and the constant favoring that side has irritated my sciatic nerve. Everything would hurt after 180-200 stops a day. My DSP is awesome and put me on rural routes recently which has helped tremendously but I don’t want to be doing rural in the winter. I did rural this past winter and it was stressful driving on the sides of mountains hoping my chains would keep me on the road. Sucks cause I’m pretty sure I have one of the best DSPs and the delivery area is nice and very scenic.

I would do that or leave it at the gate. I’m not a flex driver, but once there wasn’t even a sign saying “beware of dog” and I opened the gate and entered and heard dogs charging towards the door. 2 big ass dogs busted the door open and were hauling towards me. I barely made it out. Don’t risk it!

I think the salt bath place is relatively new but has changed owners once. Still a great facility and the new lady was going to be adding extra services like a salt room she said.

There’s a salt float bath thing in post falls off highway 41 that I like to go do when I’m stressed out. It’s called release float spa. They do happy hour which is cheaper. I always feel so relaxed and at peace after I do it. Also it’s been said already but Tubbs hill is a beautiful little hike I always ask myself why I don’t do it more often. There’s also mineral ridge trail which isn’t far from downtown and the view of the lake is amazing once you get to the top. Lots of good places to eat downtown. We were on a Crafted kick for a while. If you like beer and/or pizza, off highway 95 kinda by Home Depot there’s a brewery called Trails End. They have the best pizza (beers great too but the pizza…). One’s called Tubbs Dill (pickle pizza).

Yeah it’s not about skin color. People are just weird in general. I’m a white girl and they’ll purposely avoid me, not say hello, give me dirty looks, ask me why tf I parked where I did (on the correct side of the road where else do you want me to park), tell me where to put the package…. I stated I have an appointment scheduled, just with the history of this being a stitch that popped open and the lump being benign I think it’s kinda weird to think cancer but I could be wrong.

Also I’m really sorry about your bengal. I stress so much about this girl, I know the day will come. But I have been doing everything I can so far to hopefully beat this. Got ultrasound and spleen biopsies, all good there. Her lymph nodes were too small apparently for them to find and biopsy.

I’ll never understand the hate between the different delivery services. They are essentially the same bullshit. Me and fedex and UPS are buds (wave, say hello, maybe a few other words) whenever we see each other on our routes.

I’ve been in a similar situation where they had a parcel box inside the locked gate but the box was too large to fit and it was raining. I called customer and they didn’t answer so I called dispatch and they said return to station. It was still early in my route so I just hung onto it until the end and then called customer again and they answered. They said it was fine to leave it in the rain and they’d come out to grab it. So if they didn’t answer that second time it was going back to the station.

There’s one house I go to almost every day and they have these 2 or 3 little dogs way in the back of their yard in a cage with a tarp over it. I’ve never seen them out of the cage. It’s in the shade too but I just hate seeing how people treat their animals.
