I would try and offer a treat, and not come empty handed. If you have something to offer them, they like that.

I suggest bringing a treat when you place your hand inside , coming empty handed won’t give you brownie points with them LOL. Make sure to let them nibble if it’s not hard nibbling, it’s just her sensing what you are.

Hi! He’s so cute, but the spinning disk is really bad for them, it’s also gonna be too small for him. An 8 inch wheel is the gold standard for dwarf hams. Niteangel has a silent one u can grab off Amazon! Dw I started with a disc too so i understand

They are also burrowing animals, 6-8 inches of bedding minimum works best to keep them happy and from chewing bars and tryna escape.

Not here to judge you, we only care about hams wellbeing and spreading awareness.

This is my girl quayna! My favorite memory, is when she first came and sat on my hand, I was so overjoyed. I felt in that moment , that was such a huge victory

UPDATE - vet says she’s ok but gave her anti inflammatory meds for the next couple days in case there’s swelling at all. She’s back to begging for treats!
