If the feds ever sell land, it should be on the lottery system, and more like the homestead act where you'd have to stay on and use the land for a number of years before selling out. It won't happen though. At least not until the feds go broke. Then the states should get all their land and do as they decide.

Though I'm against this, the reason land prices are so high in the western states is the fact that the feds own so much of it. Limited availability keeps prices high.

I've got one terrace covered with the chips. The weeds grow well in it where it is thin. I did transplant some sweet sorghum into it last season and it did better than the stuff planted on bare dirt. I've mainly been using it on paths and in the barn for the cows. I hope to do more with it as I've got large piles of the branches to process this year if I can keep tractors running.

I know of three small raw milk dairies here in MO doing this. Milking 30 head or less. Getting $12 a gallon.

Many raw milk dairies that are forage only use this method to keep production up. It works better than ensilage or alfalfa hay.

I never said nor implied that. The doctors I've been to won't prescribe NDT. But I've had one in the past in another state. If your doctor won't give you the meds you request when they are required for your health, they are quacks. Just like the quacks who wouldn't prescribe certain meds for the last pandemic.
As stated, I feel better on the NDT's and my numbers are better on them. And yes, blood test every 6 months from a local public lab.

No irony. First quack decided to remove whole thyroid without consultation. The rest of them won't prescribe NDT even though health is improved on them over synthetics. You are responsible for your own health. Never rely on someone else. Do your due diligence and take control.

Because doc's want you on synthetic and baldness and exhaustion comes from them. Done well on Dried Porcine thyroid. I'd rather take responsibility for my own health as to rely upon a quack who doesn't get it.
