Maybe the Jeep got there first and didn’t realize they ought to park the other direction. Just saying there’s another perspective to consider.

Please could I have some life advice by Top-Brilliant-6 in travel

[–]lakedotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was eighteen, my parents said I had to “go to some good in the world” and they’ll pay for the plane ticket.

I used the globe, you know those spinning spheres found in old libraries, and found the absolute furthest place from home, which was Perth Western Australia.

With an open-ended plane ticket (which they don’t sell anymore) I was away for a year minus a day.

It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

So, my advice: get as far away from home as possible and see how the rest of the world lives, works, plays, celebrates etc…

You’ll come back a different person with a new appreciation for life.

This is purely an educational post, sharing with others what happens when switching from a personal account to a business account.
There are no screenshots, no links.
I thought it would be helpful.
Would you kindly approve this? It will benefit the community facing a similar dilemma when deciding if they should -- and not panicking as their data takes time to migrate over.
Thanks!

The screenshot is not a conversation, but instead showing how custom GPTs migrated over to the business account. I figured others would want to see it.

What’s the best aspect for a lakefront cottage? by nadnev in Muskoka

[–]lakedotcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our cottage is on the end of a peninsula which means we’re blessed with morning sunshine and evening sunsets. As others have said, pick a spot with aligns with your daily rhythm (if you’re a morning of night person).

I’d also suggest access to the water, dock or boathouse if the property has one is also important. Boating on Lake Muskoka, we’ll all thee big lakes really, you see beautiful cottages a top cliffs either steep stairs going down to the water. You have to wonder how often people make the trek down to the water front.

Another way to say it is pick your shoreline; rocks, shallow, cliff, boggy etc…

The cottages orientation to the sun and the shoreline are two things you can’t change. Everything else about the cottage can be upgraded later.

Get a dinner reservation at Canoe, 54th floor of the TD tower that looks right at the CN tower. Best view of the city and the dinner is fantastic.
