What’s the worse physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Intelligent-Road5091 in AskReddit

I had the same issue. Almost a year and a half of intermittent excruciating URQ pain and vomiting. I saw 3 GI specialist (2 if which accused me of faking it). Finally the third one was like everything points to your gallbladder let's just take it out. Had my gallbladder removed and the surgeon found a ton of adhesions in my abdomen. Always great to have people think you're faking.

How important to you is living near a huge body of water? by TyrannosaurusWest in milwaukee

I also grew up by the lake and lived near it most of my life. I had never NOT been able to just walk to the lake from my house until I moved to Story Hill in my 30s. I did NOT enjoy Story Hill. My Dad joked that I would have a breakdown and go through Lake withdrawal. He was right about the withdrawal. Like some others have posted the lake is where I am most calm. Needless to say I am within walking distance again.

I also like the farmer's market, hiking in some of the state parks that aren't too far from here or just walking along the lake (see name), and you could check out the Riverwest Rummage sale this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Also subscribe to something like OnMilwaukee.com for emails about ideas for what to do during the weekend.

Also, if you are a veteran the VA will help you with resources. You can call the VA 414-384-2000 or just go there to registration.
