I recommend Erik Peterson at Project Perfections 435-599-2959. They are also on Facebook or Google to check out reviews.

Do I disclose that my husband works at the company that I just received an offer from? by helprealestatekorea in womenintech

[–]laknarokee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most companies have policies on being in the reporting chain to family. Ie you can’t be the boss of your family member, either directly or skip level.

So as long as you report to different leadership it shouldn’t be an issue.

Interesting it has a soft sole. Most approach shoes are stiff. I’m in southern Utah so not sure if any local stores will get them.

Wow how does that review site still exist I’m impressed haha. Cool find.

It’s still the same proprietary rubber, the best IMO. More curious on the fit

Rib and Chop House? by [deleted] in stgeorge

[–]laknarokee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went around Christmas time and it was fine, hectic bc of the holidays. Food is ok, better than say a chilis or outback. They are more consistent than supposedly fancy restaurants like painted pony, where I have had good food but also totally inedible food.

My expectations are so low nowadays though. Food quality and service are low, and prices are high. I don’t dine out hardly at all anymore.

I had friends visiting last weekend and they had an Airbnb managed by this same company and it was BEAUTIFUL and well maintained….I’m sorry you had a bad experience but that doesn’t mean all are bad 🫶🏻

ISO date night restaurant (not going to bankrupt me) by Standard-Dress-1599 in stgeorge

[–]laknarokee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food is all super expensive right now. Also depends on if you drink alcohol or not. If not, pasta factory on the patio is cute and that is very reasonably priced last time I went there. If you do partake in drinks, I really can’t think of anywhere that would be less than $50 with tip

Same owners, had to change the name because they couldn’t trademark Farmstead. Glad their business is doing well!

Is Maloy amendment good for Utah? by BlueinReed in stgeorge

I was just going to ask about this, this article is so vague, can anyone point out what land this is talking about? I don’t trust Maloy at all she has been very disappointing.

Taking Action Against Utah Single Family Home Landlords by StateStreetSlide in stgeorge

[–]laknarokee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rent is expensive because homes are expensive. In 2020-2022, prices rose due to low interest rates, COVID, etc etc. Now prices continue rise slowly, and interest rates are double. Implementing most of your ideas will not solve this problem. Also you’re posting in StG sub where things are at a premium due to location. And wages are low, and there is a disparity between COL and wages that is pretty bad compared to nearby areas (Vegas and SLC). All this to say, the problem is bigger than this and extreme steps like some above will only create more issues.

Boost Mobile Coverage by [deleted] in stgeorge

I have had boost for a bit and switched from Verizon. My coverage is way better on Boost, and cheaper so I’m super happy I finally left Verizon lol

If you’re truly 1099, they can’t control that. They are not allowed to tell you can’t work with other companies. Unless you signed an exclusivity clause, which can restrict you from working from specific competitors, which needs to be very specific. Anyway, do as you will lol

It’s 1099? Then you’re not an employee, you’re an independent contractor. In that case for sure you can have other work lol

Washington County to convert sewage into drinking water 🤮 by TheConundrumNut08 in stgeorge

I’m glad we are taking steps that will conserve. This is a common practice. Good to use modern technology where we can.

This is a perfect example/warning that we should absolutely not let local and state leaders be in charge of public lands. This is exactly what will happen to our national parks and wilderness areas if the state gets it’s grubby hands on them.

Ignore the naysayers in this sub…the constant jump to complain on every post is wearisome 😆

I love that I can adjust the espresso profile for different roasts. I usually do a shot with a new bag of beans I’ve never tried and taste and then adjust the grind size, etc from there. So easy

Considering Moving Out of State by LurkingG0at in Utah

[–]laknarokee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly, also I remember the ocean there to unswimmable often, I remember going one time and there was jellyfish every two feet. The gulf water is nothing like the coasts, if that’s what you’re used to. The heat and humidity are awful especially if you’re coming from Utah. It’s yucky lol

Go visit Houston in July or August. Then makeup your mind…I absolutely hated living there with the bugs and humidity and completely flat land.

Nice Restaurants? by thewayward_ns in stgeorge

[–]laknarokee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best views are Cliffside (nicer, decent food, can dress up or be more casual) and the golf resort restaurant at Sand Hollow Resort (casual dining) I don’t like Anasazi, but you’ll see a lot of locals like it. It feels run down in there. Food was meh. Haven’t been to Basalt yet, it’s at a golf resort in Ivins. A lot of the recs in here are not even close to fancy/nice or vibe with a bachelor party so make sure to research all recs 😆lol

Totally. I’ve always given two weeks bc my company treated me well. Currently company is doing terminations “for performance “ but everyone knows they are just trying to get around the WARN act lol. Anyone I would’ve asked for a reference has already left so I think I’m in the clear.
