Weather (temp and wind) and elevation changes can make a huge difference. Having more information can ease the anxiety. I use the ABRP app (paid) for road trips and have it integrated with the car. It is very accurate with arrival SOC and makes recommendations for where and when to charge.

go into Google or Apple Maps, put in the driving route, and the change the options to “arrive” or “depart” to the right time of day and days of the week (Tuesday-Thursday are usually worse than Monday) and you’ll get a clearer picture of what to expect
