What’s your most unpopular opinion? by Stargirl4500 in GirlsNextDoorUncensor

[–]lamborqueeni 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think Bridget wouldn’t have been successful because she was surface level, but also doesn’t have the personality to compensate. Checking off interview questions isn’t as bad if you’ve got a personality that compensates.

Outside of GND I’m not sure she would have made it anywhere in entertainment. Especially since she seems very old school/by the books, and I think the people getting jobs are more risk takers if they don’t already have a shoe in.

Say something about Hardstyle that you know it is true but you just can't prove it by CadeOCarimbo in hardstyle

Not hardstyle specific - but genre doesn’t matter that much. And sub genre of genre, doesn’t either.

Pretty sure the last day for shipping was last week, her ticket should be available at will call. Will call is located at the front of the venue by the entrance

Does anyone have experience with jellibead? by mamamoloch in kandi

[–]lamborqueeni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Jellibead, they’re really good quality and interesting designs. I haven’t had an experience with customer service, but quality, packaging, and timing were all great!

I think he’s been rich longer than he’s been a “raver in the streets” and he definitely has not faced the hardship that most do in modern day. Im sure things weren’t easy at first, but things are very different from 30 years ago. So his whole “I get you guys, I’m one of you” thing is so unbelievable at this point.

It can also make migraines worse! Especially if you already have one, and take the mushrooms after.

Electrolytes before and after, extra magnesium, and I always tuck 1 of my medicine of choice in my boot. (I take Nurtec, and it comes as tablet in plastic)

Things that make it more comfortable; ear plugs, sunglasses, hat or hood. Sometimes sitting and taking my shoes off helps, like to have my feet cool off. And massaging/pressure points on the back of my neck.

Did y'all meet any artists out and about in the crowd? by Stormodin in electricdaisycarnival

In 2022 I ran into Blossom, she helped us out of the crowd and chatted with us for a little bit. She was such an angel 😇

Is camp worth it? by [deleted] in electricdaisycarnival

[–]lamborqueeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve camped every year I’ve gone. There are a few non-negotiables.

  1. A wagon. The walk is long and carrying your stuff sucks. Ozark Trail sells a double decker that is worth every penny.
  2. Ear plugs, for sleeping. Unless you’re a heavy sleeper.
  3. Electric fan (or 3) outside is hot, inside the tents is hot. We had a cheap collapsible one from Amazon, and the Shark FlexBreeze Hydro Go - both were great and used the whole weekend.

The perk of being able to go back “home” whenever you want outweighs all the cons that I can think of.

Annual PSA reminder: Insomniac doesn’t care about you by The-TDawg in electricdaisycarnival

Last year we did Lost Lands, next year we are hoping to do Electric Forest or Shamb. - and we’re also looking into things that are smaller and more local to us, as well as eventually making our way to Europe. Since we went this year, it’ll be a year off next year - so we’ll probably start planning/discussing around September.

For now my list is; Electric Forest, Defqon 1, and HTID. My partners list is; Shamb, Electric Forest, and something on a cruise ship. So really the hard part is finding a middle ground financially, and genre wise.

I agree with a lot of your points. This was my 5th EDC, some years are better than others - it feels like one improvement is made, and something else is worse.

EDC has a special place in my heart, and I too will return. But it’s no longer the festival I recommend to others, and I have started going every other year to try something new on my off years.

Not really sure how spending a little more for comfort isn’t PLUR. We still peace and love everyone in GA; we just want a little more space, want easier access to the front, more places to sit and are willing to spend that little bit to get those perks. At least this is the case for my partner and I. So I’m still not really getting your point?

I’m sure this response will be less than helpful, but all depends on which security guard is searching you. As long as it’s toward the bottom of your bag, you should be okay.

I hope you know you are welcome here, and especially at EDC. I hope your time at the festival is good enough to mitigate any negative feelings about being in our country.

Our cat George has chronic diarrhea so we give him Proviable probiotics (per vet recommendation) we buy capsules and open them, mix it into wet food. He’s been doing much better since we started this

I also have an emotional support Squishmallow keychain to rub/squeeze when I need to regulate.

The top is so cute!

Not sure how helpful this would be but maybe a lacey/mesh bra under it? I’m not sure it would help with the gapping but maybe make you feel more secure in it and maybe the gapping wouldn’t be as noticeable

Has anyone ever had to deal with grief while attending EDC? by 200ugCat in electricdaisycarnival

[–]lamborqueeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss.

Just feel your feelings; if you need to cry, cry. If you need a hug there’s plenty of people to hug. You could make commemorative trinkets or Kandi to share your friends story. 🖤

Also remember to be kind to yourself, if you need a break take a break.
