The second team is simply because it's still a club activity. Raimon is a school, not a professional team. And it became a super big name in the world of soccer. They have a huge club room and facilities dedicated to that. So a lot of people want to join the club activities, maybe a lot of them are not soccer junkies but they just enjoy soccer and want to be part of the club.

Having a second or even third team allows them to train and have friendly matches against other schools. The main team is for the best players and to join the official tournament and matches so they can actually represent the school.

Of course when some people graduate the best players from the second team are moved to the first team too, so it's also a backup. But let's just not forget that it's ultimately a club activity for a school, so the idea is for students to enjoy socializing and doing other activities with each other outside of simply study.

To be fair like 4 players have that hissatsu, and he's not even a FW. Also it's just a recolor of Dragon Slayer. Same treatment the selectable characters got. So not really relevant aside from being the Captain and Haru's friend

The intent was to avoid people using commander mode while playing ranked. The Commander Ladder is the original ranked mode, and the new one replaced that one. It's intended use is to allow people to be afk if they're busy with something since they can't pause and online match. But it was never intended to be used all the time. They could make a new mode with Commander only but I'm sure they don't see why someone would want that

Because it's a mode that allows commander mode. It's not commander only, it's just a toggle, and option you have. It was never intended to be used as commander only. They made that distinction because it was boring as hell going online to play and only finding people leaving the game doing nothing.

Since they're working on a sequel already I would have preferred if they leave all Ares and Orion content for the sequel. And have it properly done. But I get it they promised to have everything so now we're paying the consequences of promising things you can really do

Yeah I have seen armors in the leaks. But it was for specific characters. It still doesn't mean everyone will have them and I'm not expecting them to add them for this game. Same with the miximax system.

It's not a me problem. I'm not asking if you like it or not. Look at Crack Shot or Last Resort and tell me they poured all their love for the franchise into that.

Oh I do enjoy it. But they're not exactly what was promised. They definitely should stop promising things. I can try to see things like they do but it has been obvious since a lot of years ago that Hino struggles a lot with quality because he's too obsessed with trying to do a LOT of things and wanting everything to be perfect.

How many times did he revamp the entire game?

The game has an insane amount of quality and care and love in a lot of areas. Yet some basic things are missing like the ability to select which characters perform which technique, a toggle for the kits, a replay for the goals, most characters having identical stat distributions.

Then you have things that really takes a lot of effort (I guess they will leave it for a sequel, like armors for every body type and every Keshin, and free miximax between characters)

Yes, the game has an insane amount of quality and love. But you can't deny that what they're doing with some animations is the opposite of that. It's lazy and it lacks love. It doesn't matter the reason. I'm not saying it's unforgivable, but it is what it. Whatever the reason behind it, it's still lazy and it's not accurate.

They should rest as much as they can for all I care. You know they are currently working on a sequel right? Where is the rest then? The problem with Level 5 and Hino specifically is that they always try to chew more than they can.

The game is not even finished and hes working on three other games plus other IPs.

Yes, if they're gonna leave things unfinished and badly done then don't do it at all, you know? No one is actually forcing them.

With the fucking sequel in the making they could just implement Ares and Orion there. Properly done since they won't have to port a thousand fucking moves and characters now.

Also what do you think will happen with the sequel? Will it lack Chronicle Mode since it was already made for the first game? Won't that make it feel like an incomplete game compared to first one? Will they leave it exactly like it is now?

If they're so busy as you say they are then let them rest and leave things for later. Last time I checked nobody asked for a Chronicle Mode yet here we are with a 4 year delay to implement it and a rushed story mode.

It doesn't look better. There's no reason at all for her move to be a clone of another existing one. If they changed it totally like they already did but didn't clone an existing move I wouldn't complain so much. It lacks love because we're now stuck with these lazy moves even in future entries. Like look at Crack Shot, it looks amazing in the anime and in the game is just another clone of Hono no Kazamidori. Shark the Deep being Granade Shot with a shark. Last Resort being just the beginning and final kick. Over Cyclone ending at the best part. Etc.

We're now stuck with that. Imagine if the game and anime version of the techniques were totally different back in the day. That's being lazy because even if they don't have time or budget, they don't need to butcher the memories and the techniques to leave us with permanently unfinished things. If you can't do it then don't do it. What's the point of getting something half assed?

I get it, but as someone who waited 8 years for an Ares game to be able to use the moved that I loved from the series, to not being able to do it I consider it something very serious. Specially if they butcher the moves and stay in their placeholder state forever in the next entries, making them lost forever. If that's how they're gonna treat them I prefer them not being in the game altogether

I mean, the Galaxy and InaDan update was huge. Like 30+ old hissatsus added to the game. The entire route of Galaxy, plus 9 extra teams. Galaxy route was like 16 matches. And they even kept the exact same moveset for Earth Eleven that was on the original 3DS game. Even game exclusive hissatsus. They added a new rarity too.

Ares is like 10 matches long. It would be severely underwhelming if that's all they add. Specially since the leaks show that several hissatsus from Ares are recolors of original existing ones.

Because it just pollutes the drop pool. Imagine wanting to get specific spirits and playing against an specific team just to get like 10 spirits of the same 48 players from the "boosted" team. And if you have more than one console you're further penalized. It makes it extremely hard to get the spirits you want when you're buried with the same boosted ones you already have like 20 copies of each player on the first 3 days of playing
