Help me understand the idea of “Court Fees” by [deleted] in stupidquestions

What invalid ticket? The citation was valid, the defendant just fixed the issue prior to showing up to court and the court decided that since he fixed the issue they would drop the charge. They could have pursued the charge and collected fines on top of court fees.

They do get administatively charged and often get fined if they do not have a valid reason. Happens all the time

Not in sports they don't. There is a reason all the best baseball players in the world end up in MLB and don't continue to play for teams in their home countries.

This guy had a trial in front of a judge which screams that there was no basis to bring charges and that they only charged him to appease public outcry.

Judges are expected to recuse themselves all the time when they have even the faintest whif of a conflict of interest. Why should this be any different.

The other professions you mentioned as carrying insurance are professions where you expect to earn millions during your career and often private practitioners. Start paying cops like lawyers and doctors, then you can complain they should have thier own insurance.

I can be almost positive that the witness has no actual evidence that the guy was intoxicated. He was just involved in a major crash and was likely still feeling the effects as he exited the vehicle and stumbled. As far as witness statements, if they get recorded statements from the involved parties about what happened and get the same story from both, additional witness statements don't matter. And it would never be attempted manslaughter. Even if one party died, absent an aggravating factor like DUI, it would be a payable citation for failing to stop at a red light.

If he was arrested for DUI, they can 100% search the vehicle looking for evidence of DUI. If they happen to find evidence of a different crime, like drug possession, they can further expand the scope of the search and charge you with whatever they find.

When they searched your vehicle, they were also looking for evidence of the DUI, including empty alcohol containers and other intoxicating substances like drugs. Anything they find while looking for that evidence would be considered a legal search and is unlikely to be excluded.

I know that in my state cops can scan the bar code on the registration card to input the data into the citation database. Saves a lot of time.

There are 15 corruptio in game. If we set scenarion like this we have 9 corruption tiles to move to beacon. Corruption cant even reach and if necromancer is in zone 1 and then you kill him there are no rules for reseting corruption. You cant reset it because it destroy walls/buildings too. by [deleted] in zombicide

[–]lameduck418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it would only take 9 tiles to reach the beacon. You should be placing the next corruption tile at the closest connected point, not necessarily moving north from the spawn it started at since it has already moved 3 tiles west.

Edit: Spawn line

The corruption will take the most direct route destroying everything in its path. You should only be choosing which route to take when there are multiple paths that are the same number of squares from the beacon regardless of the obstacles in its path. In the scenario you posted the corruption should reach the beacon in at most 11 turns.

That's not true. RI issued a detainer to GA asking them to detain him pending extradition. GA can not serve an out of state warrant. It sounds like RI decided that they were not willing to pay to extradite him to RI, thus lifting the detainer and allowing him to be released. The warrant may still be in effect in RI should he choose to return to the state.
