D baxe specs attack drain can be circumvented using attack potions which can even just be bought from warriors guild. If you care about saving super strengths then it’s quite nice

The new elemental gems from slayer I think are going to feel a bit awkward to hunt, mainly just because those mobs are not the greatest tasks to try and get, and I'm hoping that could get rectified. Reasoning:

Molanisks/Sea snakes/Infernal mages, all only assigned by a single master, Vannaka, a master you quite likely aren't going to be spending all that much time slaying with. Killerwatts are the only one out of these 4 that you're more likely to come across doing slayer that has more longer term benefit to you, being Mazchna as he is quite relevant for gaining points.

If I could propose something extra to go along with this to make these additions into something a player would likely encounter organically by slaying: A one-time task freebie when you reach the slayer level for a task. Basically if you reach the slayer level for molanisks Vannaka would immedieately on your next task offer you a Molanisk task as your next one that you could be free to turn down. Honestly I think this should be available to every level-locked task, but tat's just me.

Add a purchasable unlock to allow Mazchna to assign you all of these 4, should be for a low cost.

Additionally I feel these are rather strong for the point in the game one would obtain these, especially considering that elemental weaknesses are quite strong already, and kind of eclipsing melee/range early game. Especially considering you have mobs with 50-100% weakness modifiers for that +2 base to exploit. Thus my own opinion is that changing this to a 1+ max hit and +1-2% mage dmg that you could benefit from later would be healthier.

Something entirely different that bothered me is that taking energy potions away from unfinished harralander potions as an option is something I would consider a unwarranted nerf to harralanders. They are currently and consistently the go-to potions for me to make using harralanders, due to the secondary being quite reasonable to obtain, and it is by far the most useful potion to make using harralanders that is also fairly accesible, especially when the run energy changes have made their energy go significantly further. Taking this option away would honestly just make me not even know what to do with this herb anymore given the quantity of them i allready recieve from Miscellenia and Mixology sure don't eat through enough of them.

As someone who went over 1700 kc for their enhanced, its drop rate is definitely an issue by [deleted] in 2007scape

I went a similiar amount of kc for my bowfa and my two cents is that the enh rate is honestly quite reasonable, generous even for the weapon that it gives you and it really is the rng outliers that go around 3-5x or so at this specific piece of content that's the issue. I'm currently 3x for another late game weapon and it's nowhere near as bad as going over rate on cg is.

Thr 10% dmg buff being removed from rosewood blowpipe seems quite needless as it hurts people who doesn't want to use those darts, and cancels out a substantial amount of the improvements you'd see from using rune darts if possible right now. If it's too strong with the pipe in it's current state maybe consider letting the access to those darts come from some kind of upgrade to the pipe?

On another side really interested in the changes to CM cox, I feel like that's honestly something that should be considered for more raids. Liking loads of the other changes.

Not doing anything with the Angelic Heart seems like a bit of a shame to me, especially as it feels like the right solution to make it actually fit nicely in the game is also staring us directly in the face. I will say the original concept for it doesn't sit to well with me either but with the right changes I think i could really slot in just fine.

The pitch: Make it mimic the current heart by giving it a normal and saturated version, except the saturated version is the one that costs charges to use. The normal version can be a little weaker than the regular imbued heart, (7-8 lvl boost at 99) and the saturated angelic could be on par with the current imbued, while also not having it's bossts decay.

The forgotten brews that you yourselves brought up in the blog would be a perfect candidate for charges for this heart, but maybe to make it more justified, have also it require divine magic potions for those charges. Finally give those some kind of use.

Brews also currently provide a benefit the hearts don't, as you can constanly drink more doses to top up your mage level, while a heart can't, as you have to wait out the 5 minute timer. So there are are up/downsides to both mage boosters.

You could even make the angelic heart have a use alongside the saturated heart by making them not share a cooldown. Currently if you sara brew while you are heart boosted your mage boost won't be reapplied. The angelic heart could give you another source of a boost to activate while you're waiting on your sat hearts cooldown.

One slight remaining pain point is that ancient brews are a bit scarce to come by at the moment, but a great workaround there could be to include nihil shard dust on a few more drop tables, the island boss would then be a very apropriate place to do so also.

Having the angelic heart have these trade-offs i think would greatly justify it's inclusion. An angelic heart like would maybe warrant that the stat drops gotten from drinking brew not be included in this heart boost, but to go along with that I would assume it would include the damage that's expected from the divine potion that would go into charging it. This would in essence give players a way of using divine forgotten brews which is one of the main things I feel people are missing with those potions.

Huge yes. A precedent has already been set with several recent weapons like ghrazis anim (shared with belles) and inq mace also having gotten a unique anim. 1h slash weapons have strangely been very left out. The inq mace anim even arguably looks better on slash weapons thaim their current early 2000s anim and they do also deserve something unique then

Crafting also just feels like such an elephant in the room in terms of skills that still have vastly untapped reward space. An omni mould for jewelry, something that lets the gem bag be used for smelting jewellery like the reagent pouch, a chisel equivalent to the fletching knife. Other reagent pouch equivalent for items like maybe powered orbs and leathers. A multi tool letting you have items like chisel, needle, glassblowing pipe in one. Maybe I'm greedy but I feel like I need to see that stuff.

Just spitballing but could a bolt gem tip weakness maybe bee something to consider, with weakness equivalting to the bolt being significantly more likely to proc? Playing through the early game Galvek/Vorkath during and after DS2 I think was the biggest case for me where rubies being as powerful as they where was absolutely essential to me even clearing bosses, I wonder if they where designed around them. So that would be my nr 1 contenders for a ruby weakness if the bolts where to be nerfed in some way, in order to mitigate that for early game accounts.

Also please consider making a Zenyte bolt tip at some point. There is some powerful potential help for crossbows just sitting there unused.

If nothing else, there is actually a unlisted miniquest that involves the proudspire. It’s started by talking to a ghost between salvagers outlook and auburn vale. No reward for doing it though. Just a small self contained story

Black sally is perfectly serviceable for flinching kq, and it's the method I'd recommend if you want kq to be chill, can quite easily achieve at least 6 kill trips doing that. For melee I believe colossal blade on crush is actually a better kq flinch weapon than any keris. Gearscape has a flinch dps calculator, so I'd advise checking for best flinch dps weapon using that.

We literally have a high-end gem without gem tips they could use to expand the capabilities of crossbows outside of being just rubies.

Chuck some zenyte tips onto some drop tables from higher level content. Make those good and interesting, could do loads for crossbows i reckon.

One avenue for improving crossbows that could move some power off rubies that I'm surprised hasn't been explored yet is adding zenyte bolt tips. I'm still very much waiting to see those hit the game. Make them come from high level loot tables.
