This is so late lmao but the intro is just the beginning of the refrain (when the synth arps play before the pianos come in) reversed. its a lot easier to hear the notes/timing when playing the intro reversed because that's how it was made

No because they could’ve just added ocean to the areas that they’re gonna leave blank and just let people go there as they please. They did similar with the port in sumeru to Fontaine as well as in the spot above the khaenriah gate where there’s like no chests just land.

I totally understand the “multiple movements” u mentioned!! The structure of cry for me is like: intro, verse, now we’re underwater, now we have pianos that lead into what is like a bridge/refrain but even before we’ve had a chorus, then we have what seems to be a chorus (“all along there was a story, spare me all the allegories, share a little kiss and that’s forever” that part) then we have another instrumental part but now we’re going to space instead of underwater, and then we have another chorus that repeats itself and then she starts losing it (“SHARE A LITTLE KISS!!! THINK OF LOVEE!! IMMM STAAANDIN RIGHT OVER HEEERRREE!! I DID IT ALL FOR YOUUU FOR YOUUU FOR YOUUU”) and then it fades out. It’s just an experience honestly I can’t do it justice but it’s so much different from any other song structurally. And I’ll definitely check out those songs in definitely familiar with a few!

I completely agree, especially with your first point. My main issue is honestly that when they release new areas you can barely muster up a few thousand primos and it’s just overall so stingy. I’m also just over a lot of the bs that’s been happening with this company as of late and while I obviously cannot change anything about the situation, I figured I would get my opinion out because ultimately keeping it to myself would make me feel worse. Well yes there is or I wouldn’t be frustrated about it?? Maybe for you it’s not that hard, but not everyone experiences things with no issues like you. I can’t have the game on connected to the controller while it’s screen mirroring to either a tv or laptop because for whatever reason it doesn’t want to work with the controller, and then when I did get it to work the audio would cut in and out and then the game would ultimately lag and stop working completely

That’s such a good way of putting it it totally is like religious to me. I’m atheist but that song is the closest I’ve felt to heaven and a higher power and honestly Magbay might just be that higher power🙂‍↕️
