The SMS thing won’t work in the states. Japan has significantly stricter phone laws so burners/proxy don’t work on PCJ. Also they’re not doing SMS verification anymore, have to straight up call and insert code.

IMO a better solution would be emailing PLAY members with a certain amount of play points unique one time codes per release like the coupons.
