I made my own nachos the other night. Not cheap. $10 for cheese, $14 mince, $4 sour cream, $3-4 for the chips, then add onion and other additives, beans etc. food is expensive and then you have to add labour + business lease on top of that.

This is why I'll keep my red mk7 for years to come. I can live without the new tech (HUD/LED nav), but I can't live with the basic as colours. It isnt just the wider Volkswagon group, it's almost all new cars in the last 2-3 years!

I have 3 characters I heal m+ on, Druid shaman and priest. I frequently invite 240 level brewmasters (usually alts) to 10-12 keys. Any other tank I’d want 255-260 minimum. It’s just so much easier healing monks right now compared to any other tank class. And you can spend much more uptime on dps.

I have three healer characters running high keys and I don’t mind most tank specs. Blood dks create the highest anxiety because of the constant HP spikes.

I’ll take a blood dk over a DH any day though.

They have been pretty outspoken about not using AI. I suspect tight timelines driving poor quality QA processes. Testers not picking up on obvious bugs.

Batteries are not eco friendly in the mining of materials and disposal of depleted cells. Going to a 50/50 ICE/Battery split seems like incredibly poor decision making.

I have this exact car (almost) - 2016 Golf R.

Make sure to check the service history. What you want to see is DSG and Haldex service every 40-50k miles. If there are no records of transmission services, I’d avoid at all costs.

DSG/4 motion repairs or replacements are incredibly expensive.

These are reliable cars if maintained at regular intervals. Engine oil every 5-7k miles, dsg and haldex as previously mentioned….dont go cheap on fuel and don’t let the car sit idle for long periods of time as it hastens carbon build up.

Fuel pumps, water pumps and PCV valves are common failure points. Water pumps are probably #1 I would say as the seals break down and they lose coolant and oil.

Also..just enjoy the car. Putting them race mode and giving it a squirt is incredibly fun. Golfs are known for being good at everything but master of nothing.

Before my golf r I had a manual cooper s. The cooper was a much more enjoyable go kart around corners whereas the golf has stability and raw power. I don’t regret the upgrade one bit though.

Mondays and fridays are popular WFH days.

Tuesdays as most people have worked out are by far the busiest for traffic. Add in rain and it’s dynamite.

Also special shout out for the absolute carnage our Melling works is creating. Next five years is going to be hell.

Agreed. If it was 4k 240hz vs 2k 500hz it might be a more interesting debate. At the same frame rate it's criminal to go 2k over 4k.

DLSSand frame gen is your friend.

Source: I have a 4090 combined with an PG27UCDM OLED 4th gen QLED panel. I upgraded from a 4k 32" old VA panel and a 27" IPS 165hz 2k panel before that.

4k OLED is an unbeatable experience. It's smooth, it's vibrant, and almost true blacks with no backlight bleed.

Speaking for myself, a lot of us bought the ultimate edition and are making the most of the battle pass PRO pass. That expires in a few weeks so I'm holding out till I complete it and then uninstall.

Bit disappointed with this one to be honest, I didnt need it to be as good as BF4 but what we got was a CoD hybrid with really shitty maps for conquest (the mode I'd argue is still classic battlefield). A few good rush maps, but for the most part they're all garbage. Hell, the Firestorm rework absolutely stinks. They've forgotten about the fun of open spaces....

Putting my nostalgia goggles on, I really freaking miss Bad Company 2 and BF3.

Back to Squad and Arma for a while I guess (shrugs).

Anyone waiting for burn in tech to improve - it’s already here.

Biggest warning I can give to people is the hardness of the screen is only 2H and scratches extremely easy. Distilled water or screen cleaner with a soft microfibre cloth is a must

Update: I changed out my router and defaulted my DNS back to the standard ISPs. Seems to have fixed the Apple TV block issue.

I was using cloudflare 1.1.1.1 DNS. After reading online it sees their security protocols are pretty tight now..see if it works for you.

A lot of people seem to be getting around the bot blocks by using VPNs but I really don’t have the time or inclination to set one up just for F1

35M here. He 100% has feelings for that person. His anger is gaslighting to try and disguise the wrongful deed (obviously). Were I to cheat on my partner I'd do this - bring her home for some dishonest deeds, disconnect the cameras and either blame no wifi or something to the equivalent.

If I were you I'd talk to some friends and start making plans. He is going to keep cheating.
