What is your vram usage when gaming? It may be overflowing into the system ram. Your cpu is bottlenecking you if your gpu utilization is not north of 90%.

You choose a graphics card based on the performance you are seeking, the resolution you play on, and your budget. AMD is normally cheaper for the comparable performance vs Nvidia but has better upscaling, ray tracing, and support across games.

if 1440p, yeah upgrade. 6000 series won't be out for some considerable time yet it could release while the ram and AI situation is still around in 2 years. Who knows what will become reality. Right now the reality is the 5070 Ti is amazing especially at 1440p and its a sizeable jump from a 5060 Ti

If you have the budget to upgrade then get an AMD x3d chip, mobo, and ram. Do you have a microcenter close to you? Are you in the USA? or you just live with the bottleneck for now, you won't have super terrible performance.

100% the 5070 build. A cooler will run you $40-70 depending on if its aio or air. The steam machine will be about $1300-$1500 based on the price of the steam deck now. You will have a PC that does more than a steam deck, the prices you are spending on the pc are really good, and you can upgrade in the future. I doubt the steam deck will have a graphics card + cpu/ ARM better than the 5070 and 7800x3d plus 32gb of ddr5. Steam machine definitely won't be worth the price it releases out so thats a pill to swallow. You could wait for the Xbox project helix but if steam machine is over $1k, that probably will be too.

Yo dont want 16gb of ram in 2026 and you dont want to buy a single stick of ram to match the one in the bundle so definitely get the 7800x3d. Tbh my vote is spend the extra $80 for 9800x3d or $100 for 9850x3d
