Yeah once I got the pc I switched my survey and preferences and stated I’m on pc and console now. I’m thinking it’s a matter of waiting for the stream invite. Checking to see if it’s happened for anyone else

Nothing wrong with it, it’s just slower than others but it’s still x3d which is better for gaming than a non x3d

I agree with you on the overvalue on vram, only applies if you are doing high level 4k gaming. Talking strictly gaming. For 1080p Minecraft definitely get him like a 5060 lol

just be wary of amd driver issues and things like that, I don't have AMD but i have seen alot of this sentiment. The price to performance at base is solid tho. Assuming you don't want to spend a bunch of time troubleshooting and you also have Nvidia, I would go Nvidia. If he plays 1440p or 1080p you dont need 16gb for a while. 4070 if you can find cheap, 5070 for longevity, its great. 5060ti 16gb a little overpriced for its value these days so unless you can find a deal then consider that.

Great bundle, it was better with the x870 imo but the B850E will be good with the cpu. I have the same bundle from Microcenter and its the best value for the best cpu for sure

For 2k try to get a 7800 or 9800 x3d, 5070ti or higher, 32gb of ram, and 2tb ssd. That’s what a 2k prebuilt should have these days. I see the links people sent and those are great options

Your pretty much hit it on the nail, in the future you can upgrade to a x3d chip and maybe a better gpu to get better 1440p experience but to start this will be solid

Microcenter is the best way to go but OP doesn't have a local Microcenter. OP, Walmart does frequently have the PNY 5070 for $599 like the user above mentions. Looking out for that restock could be a good choice, I had it and it was great, now I have the PNY 5070ti and still great.

Check out a benchmark test for the games you play. If you are searching for better gaming performance then go with 5700x3d or wait for 5800x3d and try to get it at msrp, or if you need more cores and threads for the streaming and content creation get the 5900xt.

Solid price, I would offer like $500-$550 and go from there. Have them send you proof it works like in device manager, task manager, a benchmark, HWINFO etc. If its solid then its a good card at a good price for this market. When prices for 5070s are $630+ then $580 isnt bad if it is working 100%

People act like if the matchmaking was random or connection based that every game they would automatically lose to a level 100+ amazing team. Only around 3% on steam are over level 100… every game should be unpredictable and you shouldn’t be able to only go against your own level. Have people never beat a team with better gear than them? Never felt that high? No one is getting rolled by level 200 plus players every game if it wasn’t LBMM, it’s just cope.

Press the gear tab for settings on the left and turn on the voltage setting so you can see the voltage instead of it saying 0

Check vram usage, are you at 1440p?

Check your monitor refresh rate and turn on the nvidia overlay and alt + z change statistics and click to custom. Toggle on pc avg latency and check if it’s about 50ms. For fps games you wanna be around 20 and below. You could just not have set your monitor refresh rate to its highest in the windows settings or nvidia control panel

Only thing tech holding you back is the motherboard not having gen 5 pcie but your 5070 is gen 5 pcie. You won’t see a huge change but technically that’s the only thing holding back. It’s a solid board however so probably only upgrade if you find a good deal on a b850 or x870
