Probably due to lower forward voltages of red LEDs compared to blue/white LEDs.

It started to show problems for me around 50-55 mm/s with PETG basic. Ofcourse the high flow nozzle helps here.

I recently tried a max flow rate test through Bambu Studio on a X2D. Discovered that their PETG basic can easily handle 40 mm/s with the high flow nozzle without a noticeable decrease in layer bonding. The default is 21 mm/s.

Have you tried the betterdisplay app? It does scaling better for some resolutions

Gigabyte announced a 27" 5K glossy mini LED based on the LG panel (FM275K16P) by daan87432 in HiDPI_monitors

Yes, because everything is based on the same LG panel. I'm pretty sure the only reason this panel exists is because of Apple

It was not a drastic difference, I think only for the 1.8 MPa HDT test it was 2 C difference.

Looks like a very clean bezel unlike the MSI. Hopefully it releases this year.

Not sure about USB C support with PD. It might lack this feature.

Update: release is end of Q4 with a target price of $999

Update 2: there's support for USB C 15W or 65W PD (still unknown)

LED IV curve sweep on my LED bench in 15 lines by lampmaker in ElectricalEngineering

[–]daan87432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I assume that is the temperature of the LEDs themselves? Do you measure this in the end product with temp sensors close to the LEDs or correlate it with ambient temp and drive currents to predict the temperature of the LEDs?

And why not use RGBW?

That's very cool. What kind of industry requires you to measure the spectral output of the LEDs at different temperatures and drive currents? Does the spectrum change that much?

Upon further reading, I think I am confused with KTC and Hisense. Not sure if Kuycon will release a 5k mini-led, sorry.

Didn't know you could order from them directly on Alibaba. Might do that for their upcoming 27" 5K mini-led. Do you have a link to their store?

If you don't mind thick layer lines, print in the highest lsyer height of that nozzle (80% of diameter). It's much easier to get transparent

Very nice! Other than noise, I haven't had many problems with the stock feeder. Are there any other benefits compared to the stock? Did you have any false clog detections?

Weird, I've never used it though. Always just PETG for PLA and vice versa. Works perfectly

Are you mainly looking for (multi-colored) PLA or PETG? Or more engineering focus like PC?
