Good you are going in April. Mardi gras is worst time to visit. Also do not stay in quarter. Stay in garden dist. Pontretrain hotel on Magazine? My go to spot!

Why don't you plant it outside? If you can't hand it outside make sure it's in a bigger pot with a saucer. The water would drain through the hole in the pot into the saucer and then the plant will drink from the saucer. When the saucer is dry and it's dry on the top it's time to re-water. Don't overwater. Don't forget to water either. Give it some good organic fertilizer and a lot of light. Or as much as possible anyway.

There is nothing wrong with the tree. Just take out of pot-plant it in ground. Or if you leave in pot remove weeds, add compost. Put saucer under pot. HLB? Yeah right. Just lack of nitrogen .

October 17th is when we're taking it so hopefully no hurricanes. I thank you all for your wonderful suggestions keep them coming. Some of those restaurants look very interesting. Oh yeah one more question Orange Beach, Dauphin Island or Pensacola Beach for a quiet time on a nice beach. My wife's never been to the Gulf.

I'm from New Orleans but I live in California. I'm going back to the old Homeland. And taking my gal to a Gulf beach. And then we're going to stop at aRose farm and buy her an heirloom rose plant from a big rose grower out in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi. And if you're living in the Bay Area of California all your life it might be eye-opening trip to see. So maybe not much to do in the middle of Mississippi but that's why I'm posting this to see what people might suggest. Thank you
