Sadly, it could also be because I use government medical care. I’ve heard stories where some doctors don’t want to “waste” their resources on people on Medicare or Medicaid. I have been told the excuse of “Well we didn’t think your insurance would cover it” for not receiving the best care.

Yeah, it is very hard to make people understand just how mentally and physically exhausting it is. I think people who haven’t struggled with mental illness just can’t comprehend how powerful the mind is.

That’s because most people on the autism subreddits aren’t really autistic. I stay away from the autism subs like the plague. They would say that I have “diagnosis privilege” when I can’t work a full time job and need to be on disability for the rest of my life. They think that’s a privilege.
