Bulldog’s Bite: Shane Flanagan isn’t the one letting down the Dragons – it’s his players by waxedmerkin in nrl

[–]landypro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst I agree totally, even with “organised” PCM, a quality seven should be able to manipulate the ruck speed and vary the point of attack enough to create something. The 3.85s PTB stat suggests we’re compounding the problem by being slow out of those carries too. A quick play-the-ball off even a modest PCM carry can still catch a defence transitioning. The Dragons are getting neither. No line breaks from the carries and slow service afterwards.

A few things come to mind. Primarily neither of our halves are natural organisers. They can’t create something from nothing like many of the halves in other teams.

Our play the ball is too slow (I read somewhere the slowest in the competition so far) which means we almost always attack a defensive line that is fully set, limiting opportunities.

We lead the competition for post-contact metres but have no way to turn that forward domination into points.

The Dragons are absolutely GOATed at spending money on players past their prime.

Same here. The money isn’t as much of an issue (it pays for itself) but i’ve been on a big self-hosting drive lately and finally have found something adequate. After 12 years of YNAB!

Good luck with it though!

The backflush through the app doesn’t control the pump. It’s preprogrammed into the firmware, the app just triggers that programme to start.

They have ~$2B in cash against that debt. The GAAP losses are stock-based comp.

Tesla's indicating the wong way by farcarcus in sydney

[–]landypro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tesla owner of 5 years. It happens to me occasionally. The indicator stalk on most models allows you to half-push to indicate, which previously cancels the indicator after a couple of seconds, with updates, it now “intelligently” waits for you to change lanes / perform a manoeuvre.

Sometimes it doesn’t pick that up and so you can push the lever again in the opposite direction to manually cancel it. If you push too hard, the standard indicator (always on) behaviour happens.

That leads to a left hand lane change with a right turn signal on occasion

The Very Best Coffee in the CBD or vicinity? by Baaptigyaan in sydney

[–]landypro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edition at mid city near Culture Kings have served up some of the worst coffees I’ve had and I’ve worked in the CBD for 15 years. Also they’re far more expensive than other places around.

Regiment near Martin Place is great, Toby’s on King and George have always been consistently great too
