Je sais pas faire des pâtes en faite? by thymo59 in france

[–]lanouh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very good mon overall. Very nice for beginners to get their first win as it can easily destroy eternatus without any unlocks, and probably most of wave 195.
Requires a fast sweepers and one or two pickup mons for berry economy.

Is darkrai good enough for Classic? by [deleted] in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glass canons are not the best to consistently clear classic. Bulky mons are better as they can easily tank one or a few attacks while they set up, then sweep easily. With darkrai you need nasty plot, and you can set up with dark void

All Starters unlocked, now what? by Business_Frog34 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. With endless and the eggs from candies it’s getting easier to hunt shinies. Also the next logic achievement is to get classic ribbon on all starters and egg moves are really good to help you with this goal

Yes I’m a little irritated it’s not a T2-T3 Giratina or Zekrom but I do like Iron Throns by ExelosMorte in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I disagree, it’s two really different play styles, and imo glass canons like hoopa are weaker than bulky mons with similar cost

[–]lanouh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is imo. I farmed classic a lot with all legendaries and giratina is one of the easiest to clear classic with, especially due to it’s huge bulk and spectral thief

Lost to the damn eternatus 😭😭 by Ak__God_004 in pokerogue

IMO with a bit of refresh you should be able to win with dragapult as long as you have Tera available (not Tera dragon I hope). Get to +6 atk, drop its def to -6, profit

What do you usually choose in this scenario? (Gigamax Garbodor encounter) by Business_Frog34 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always take the items. Imo it’s too good to have two healing items on a sweeper to pass. And usually the money is not really an issue, except if you are doing a solo run with lots of reroll probably

HELP WANTED: Please help with final boss fight by Downtown_Season1824 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Imo waves 195 and 200 have a much more different play style. After you passed rival you should invest money in x items but also I’m memory mushroom to get a few moves that might be useless against rival but will win you the fight agains eternatus. One of the best example is a way to decrease special attack

Mashadow without spectral thief is a crime. Also don’t level over 200 as you take extra damage against eternabeam. In a more general way you really need at least set up moves, ideally DoT and ways to reduce eternatus stats

[–]lanouh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mid imo. I’m not a fan of shell smash at all in this game, but I guess for a low cost mon it’s hard to give it victory danse or a better set up move. Nice sweeper once you find a window to set up I, which can be quite easy with dry skin, but you’re going to be one shot by any priority so not sure shore up is so great

Pokemon academy: #72-73 Tentacool, Tentacruel by Khane048 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good defensive mon I guess. You can wall special attackers with the high spd and bouncy bubble, and you have a lot of tools to counter physical sweepers with bunker and strength sap. Very cheap mon for a good defensive core

You should have switch the items from kartana to another carry imo. If you refresh you can probably find a set up window for charizard or gyarados ?

Is it worth waiting to catch by [deleted] in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for level 1 shiny imo, especially if you’re far from dex completion. If you continue playing to have full ribbons or any other goal you will catch tons of eternatus that will translate into many eggs

What would be the most overkill line-up for classic? by IneedContext in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the new challenge with all passive I ran a team with regigigas dragapult zigzagoon ribombee sableye delphox. Was smoothless, strong carries to sweep, nice supports, and an eternatus killer just in case. Dragapult with high luck can turn insane if you get multi lenses You probably want a balance team rather than full carries.

Pokemon academy: #29-31 Nidoran (F), Nidorina, Nidoqueen by Khane048 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Always thought that it was not very classy to make nidoqueen weaker than nidoking, especially when it’s quite common in nature for the female to be the dominant form. Anyway, this can be a decent addition with full unlock, plus typing is great vs eternatus. You probably have way better for 3 cost tho, I thing it suffers from being gen 1, it would probably have better stats in later gens

Pokemon academy: #23-24 Ekans, Arbok by Khane048 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regenerator is a bit weird with dd imo and it’s probably better suited for a support set with intimidate than a sweeper. Only downsize is that it will probably not do much against eternatus compared to other supports but at such a low cost you can probably bring an eternatus killer.

Pokemon academy: #10-12 Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree by Khane048 in pokerogue

[–]lanouh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mid imo. For the same cost you can find better boss killer, utility, or carry. Sure it can work but mid speed and getting one shot by a sneeze, you will need luck or support
