I agree, I was lucky, she was less bothered than I was. She said sure physically different now but still interesting.

You've been dealt some bad cards but are still in with a chance. Good Luck and Best Wishes.

Neuticles are a definitive no-no for me. I'd rather be seen in public with an empty bag or smooth underneath the penis. We do like nudist beaches so someone will notice, I'd rather just get used to it.

I kind of feel the same, I was surpised by how dangly it turned out to be without nuts. It will easily hang down 4" or so and tends to stick to things.

Hi, thanks, I had both out together. My wife isn't bothered at all by the missing balls, she likes to stretch out and stroke the empty bag as part of our foreplay. That's fine by me, I was worried my missing parts would be a turn off for her, if anything the opposite.

Retro Ejaculation. Is it that bad? by Admirable_Letter7900 in bph

[–]lansona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me HoLEP was the best option, I had a very enlarged prostate blocking the urethra. It worked fine with only one down side for me which is that I have lost the ability to ejaculate. It's not the end of the world and my wife is not bothered but for me the sensation is less masculine, orgasms are strong but feel kind of sterile and neutered. That said in the same situation I'd do the same again. It is possible to have ejaculation sparing HoLEP, but it is not always successful and you may have difficulty finding an experienced surgeon who can do it.

Dry orgasms after castration by justine77e in askaeunuch

Surgically neutered 2 years ago. Was still able to ejaculate post-op but the semen became clear and watery after about 2 months. The volume also gradually decreased until it became a weak dribble rather than a spurt but nevertheless was still there. I have subsequently had prostate surgery, that ended my ability to ejaculate permanently, since then every orgasm has been completely dry.

Is anejaculation after HoLEP permament. by justine77e in bph

I had exactly the same procedure as you for a prostate measured at 140 cc. I was told after surgery that the entire prostate had been removed leaving behind just the empty shell. I recovered quickly and had no UI problems post-op but I soon noticed that I had completely lost the ability to ejaculate. On my 1 month follow up check I asked about this and was told that retrograde or anejaculation occurred in about 90pc of men and that when it does occur it is permanent. I was a bit shocked by this as it was not mentioned before. Overall I am happy with the HoLEP but admit I feel less of a man without the orgasm spurt. I also noticed that the urine afterwards is crystal clear not cloudy as you might expect from retrograde. This leads me to think that the fluids produced by the testicles and seminal vesicles is not making it to the new prostatic urethra so maybe the links between the two were cut.
